Christina Aguilera “You Lost Me” VIDEO

It’s a happy Thursday for devoted fans of pop powerhouse Christina Aguilera. This morning, the embattled singing superstar rolled out the buzzed-about video promo for “You Lost Me,” the power ballad featured on her latest album, Bionic.

Director Anthony Mandler, who wrote the treatment for the vid, explained the concept in a chat with PopEater last week: “From the first keys of the opening of the track, we know that we are about to watch something that is going to move and transform us. In the end, we’ve traveled through Christina’s world. One that is physical, mental and spiritually charged. Nothing is what it seems. Everything is fractured and evolving, falling away … fragile…”

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Accept Damages from Newspaper

The parent company behind Britain's News of the World will pay an undisclosed sum to settle a lawsuit against the newspaper by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that claimed the two were legally separating and had negotiated custody arrangements.

On Thursday, the couple's lawyer said in London's High Court that Rupert Murdoch's News Group Newspapers accepted that its published allegations were "false and intrusive," reports the BBC.

In January, when the suit was filed, the couple's attorney, Keith Schilling, stated: "We can confirm unequivocally ... that the allegations published by the News of the World are false as well as intrusive."

Among the evidence in the case was a statement from the divorce lawyer reputedly cited in the original story. "I have never met. … your clients or had any involvement with either of them. The foregoing is true with respect to all other members of this firm," said his statement.

Pitt and Jolie, who this week were attending premieres for her new movie Salt, did not appear in court. Their attorney said News of the World would publish an apology and pick up Pitt and Jolie's legal costs and pay damages, which the couple intend to donate to their charitable Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

Apple moving through iPad, iPhone 4 waiting lists? Could sell 1,000,000 devices

One of our Apple sources has been communicating some internal Apple information to us, and from what we’ve been told, this weekend could be big. Currently, if you go to an Apple retail store and can’t find an iPad or iPhone 4, Apple will offer the ability to reserve one for you. These are “Priority Lists” and contain your name and information in addition to the specific device and configuration you want. These lists allow Apple to determine how to manage their channel inventory or possibly ramp up on production. Here’s the big news we’ve been told… Apple is apparently incredibly interested in clearing out these waiting lists, and if our tipster is correct, they’re aiming to do it by this weekend. We have been told that stores have lists that could be anywhere from 500 to 1500 or more customers waiting for iPhones, and anywhere from 250 to 750 customers waiting for iPads. Apparently all Apple stores have asked employees for an “all hands on deck” approach this weekend, somewhat similar to that of Apple product launch days. We have even been informed that Apple stores might open early on Sunday to accommodate extra traffic. Lastly, our source let us know that clearing out these lists could result in the sale of up to an additional 500,000 to 1,000,000 iOS devices in just a few short days.

Microsoft “Be What’s Next” tagline revealed at MGX

Microsoft has used its MGX conference to launch a new tagline for the company, “Be What’s Next”, and they’ve illustrated it with some slick new logos that, sadly, won’t be seeing a public release. Engadget spotted a promo from the event on YouTube – since pulled, though they grabbed a copy which you can see after the cut – and have since been contacted by Microsoft to confirm that the tagline is indeed something they’re going forward with.

Unfortunately, while Microsoft’s logos probably are overdue for a refresh, the company has no plans to use these squiggles to do that. They’re “a standalone treatment to show the flexibility of joined brands” apparently, and something thrown together just for MGX.

Reporters ask Jay Park if he contacted 2PM in Korea

Jay Park has been very successful these days.

Filming for Hype Nation, his first single Count On Me being a hit in Korea, and signing with SidusHQ, everything seems to be going fine for him.

He took part in a press conference for Hype Nation on July 22nd together with other cast members including Rania’s T-ae, Dennis Oh, etc.

The spotlight of the night fell on Jay and one of the questions that the reporters asked was if he made contact with any of the 2PM members.

iPhone helps AT&T earnings jump 26 percent

A record 3.2 million iPhone activations helped boost AT&T's second-quarter earnings 26 percent year over year and prompted the company to increase its outlook for the full year.

On Thursday, the carrier reported earnings of $4 billion compared with $3.2 billion in the prior year's quarter. Sales inched up 0.6 percent to $30.8 billion from a year ago.

The company attributed the surge in earnings to the 3.2 million iPhone activations during the quarter, with around 27 percent of those from customers new to AT&T. Preorders of Apple's iPhone 4 were 10 times higher the first day than those for the iPhone 3GS a year earlier, AT&T added.

The carrier also saw fewer people exiting its service, with its churn rate shrinking to a record low of 1.29 percent from 1.48 percent a year ago. Overall, it added 1.6 million wireless subscribers during the quarter to reach a total of 90.1 million customers, a 13 percent gain over a year ago.

Taylor Swift 'Dating' Toby Hemingway?

Toby starred in Taylor’s latest video for A Rose to the Fallen and we hear they hit it off immediately.

There’s a bit of an age difference between the two, Taylor is 20, Toby is 27.

So who is Toby Hemingway? His mother is author Annamaria Hemingway and Toby himself is a British actor. He and his mother moved to California when he was 13.

He has starred on an episode of CSI: Miami, the film The Covenant and has three films currently in production.

The photo to the right is a still shot taken from Taylor’s new video, Toby posted it on his Facebook page. Hint, hint!

Will Toby Hemingway and Taylor Swift last? This remains to be seen, but they do make an adorable couple!

New Taylor Momsen Video: Too Racy For Her Age?

Taylor Momsen says she's not Miley f'ing Cyrus.

The two seem to have a similar urge to let their inner bad girls loose, however. Like the Hannah Montana pioneer, this is one Gossip Girl star who can't be tamed!

Taylor's band, The Pretty Reckless, just released a music video for their song "Miss Nothing," and, like Miley, she's already being criticized for being too risque.

She's 16 going on 17 (Monday), but she looks like she's 16 going on 30 in this video, which can be unintentionally funny, edgy, lame and sexy at the same time.

Okay, nix that last part. It's not sexy. Sixteen. So wrong. We're curious to hear what you think, though. Check out the "Miss Nothing" video below

AT&T order 8m Windows Phone 7 handsets?

While our opinion of Windows Phone 7 was somewhat mixed, it looks like AT&T are a whole lot more enthusiastic about the new smartphone OS. According to Altimeter Group analyst and SlashGear columnist Michael Gartenberg, a trusted source has revealed that AT&T has apparently signed up for eight million Windows Phone 7 devices ahead of its holiday season launch.

The specific manufacturers of the AT&T devices are unknown – LG, HTC and Samsung are among the crowd we know are working on handsets running the new Microsoft OS – as is the timescale over which the carrier expects to be selling them. Gartenberg also believes that the AT&T deal isn’t a Windows Phone 7 exclusive, which is probably a good thing from Microsoft’s perspective if they want to catch up with the market saturation of rival smartphone OSes.

Windows 7 service pack 1 coming early next year

The first service pack for Windows 7 will emerge in the first half of 2011, according to Microsoft.

SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 will also be released in the same time frame, according to the company's TechNet Evaluation Center Web site.

The Windows 7 SP1 will include updates based on those delivered by the Windows Update online service since the OS's launch in October, as well as additional tweaks based on customer feedback.

The service pack for Windows Server 2008 R2 will focus on improvements to the virtual desktop infrastructure technology.

Droid X users gobbling up 5x the data of other Verizon smartphones

Been wondering why Verizon would seek to curb its unlimited data plans with bogus restrictions? Wonder no more. Jennifer Byrne, a business development executive director at Big Red, has shared with us the shocking stat that early data usage from Droid X owners is five times what other smartphones are suckling down. Clearly, the jumbo screen is being used to the fullest by those lucky enough to get an X when they wanted one, and Verizon is (outwardly, at least) really, really excited to see such keen use of its network. Enjoy it while it lasts, Droidsters!

Mel Gibson Extortion Case Hanging on a Text?

When will these famous types learn that no good comes from texting?!

With L.A. County Sheriff's officials agreeing to look into Mel Gibson's accusation that Oksana Grigorieva demanded $10 million from him in exchange for keeping those nasty tapes under wraps, there's now a report that Grigorieva may have left textual evidence of her alleged intentions.

Apparently, if such a plan existed, it failed. But who's telling the truth here?

The Hollywood Reporter has it from a well-placed insider that authorities have a text from Grigorieva to Gibson in which she tells him that she recorded their conversations because "you broke your agreement with me."

There are also emails that Gibson's camp will use to make its case, the source said.

Grigorieva, meanwhile, continues to stick to her guns and deny any wrongdoing. (Maybe she can explain her bad taste in men to Oprah someday.)

LIVE Xbox 360 versus PC tournament plans canned by Microsoft?

Microsoft has apparently scuppered plans to allow PC and Xbox 360 gamers to take each other on, using the company’s LIVE service to connect titles available for both platforms. According to Rahul Sood, CTO of HP’s gaming business, the Microsoft project was intended to promote PC gaming, but canned after testing showed those using PCs consistently bested their console counterparts.

That wasn’t just because they were better players in general – in fact, according to the rumors Sood has heard, Microsoft purposefully selected mediocre PC gamers to take on “the best console gamers” – but because of the extra accuracy involved when using a PC and mouse versus a console controller. Microsoft supposedly felt that “it would be embarrassing to the XBOX team in general” if they’d gone ahead with a commercial launch, and so the idea was scrapped.

Nokia’s Q2: 111+ Million Devices Shipped, Sales Tops €10 Billion, Profit Drops 40%

Nicely timed a few days before Nokia’s earnings release, the Wall Street Journal on Monday reported that the mobile giant is conducting a search for a new chief executive, citing the company’s trouble in posing much of a challenge to the likes of Apple, RIM and Google with its Android operating system in the high-end smartphone market.

No doubt there’s concern from Nokia shareholders, and I also don’t expect current CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo to hold on to his position for much longer.

That said, Nokia just announced that net sales in the second quarter of 2010 topped 10 billion euros (that’s a little over $12.8 billion) across units, and that it has shipped more than 111 million mobile devices, up 8% from Q3 2009.

However, net income fell to 227 million euros, down from 380 million euros a year earlier.

That’s a steep 40% drop in net profits.

Leaving out its NAVTEQ and Nokia Siemens Networks businesses, Nokia reports net sales for its Devices & Services unit were €6.8 billion, up 3% year-on-year. That is in fact the lower end of its previously expected range of €6.7 billion to €7.2 billion for the second quarter, an outlook it had revised last month, but it didn’t fall below said range.

The company expects the same range for net sales for Devices & Services for the third quarter as well. We should note that at constant currency, group net sales would have decreased 4% year-on-year rather than increase.

Joe Chen rushed to emergency room with kidney stones

Taiwanese actress Joe Chen is currently in Beijing with Chinese actor Xiaoming Huang filming for John Woo's upcoming movie "Ji Liang Qing Chun". A couple days ago, the actress unexpectedly developed sudden abdominal pain and voimiting. Her assistants rushed in and called for an ambulance to deliver to the emergency room, where exams revealed a case of kidney stones and had also received seven needle injections. After the incident, Joe said on her microblog, "I finally know what it's like to be put on medical treatment in the middle of the night while in another country."

At the time, Joe had hurt to the point of not being able to work, and also had been continuously vomiting. Staff members had to carry her to an ambulance, and it was initially believed that the actress had suffered gastrointestinal problems. Diagnoses later proved to point to kidney stones, which led to her being poked with needles seven times, including three shots to stop the pain, two injections for intravenous drips, one shot to stop the vomiting, and one shot for a blood test. Joe later received treatment for the removal of the stones and will need to make a return trip in two days for testing.

Ethan Ruan sued by ex-manager

Taiwan model-actor Ethan Ruan's former manager has sued the star for NT$3 million (S$130,000) on Wednesday, alleging that Ruan signed with him while underage and then breached the contract, said Chinese media.

In addition to monetary reparations, Ruan's former manager Chen Xiao Zhi is also asking the "Monga" star to call a press conference within three days and issue a public apology.

Chen claimed that Ruan had signed a five-year contract with him in March 1991, and also signed with modelling agency Catwalk, contravening the terms of their contract.

The star's former manager was also upset that Ruan denied ever signing a contract with him when interviewed by the media about the matter, damaging Chen's reputation and harming his credibility.

Ruan's current management agency, Catwalk, expressed that it will support Ruan in the face of such allegations.

First Look: Katy Perry Trades Clothes for a Cloud in This Teenage Dream

A Teenage Dream, indeed.

Having already been named the hottest woman around by Maxim, Katy Perry has very little left to prove as far as sex appeal to the gents is concerned.

So for the cover of her third studio album, Teenage Dream, the betrothed pop princess went ahead and had fun with her naughty-angel reputation, stretching out on a strategically placed cloud and leaving all clothing and accessories—including her halo—behind.

And in keeping with her retro-girly vibe, the lips are red, the hair is '40s-pinup perfect, and the cloud is cotton-candy pink! Oh, and this cover isn't some mere photo, it's a portrait painted by contemporary artist Will Cotton.

Live the dream starting Aug. 24

Sandra Bullock Gives Jesse James a Second Chance

It's been no secret that Jesse James has been working overtime to win back ex-wife Sandra Bullock, and now sources tell me all his efforts have -- woh! -- actually paid off.

"Sandra has made it clear that Jesse is the love of her life," a friend of the actress tells me. "She's not the sort of lady that just stops loving someone, no matter what he did behind her back. Sandra misses him and their life together every single day. You have to remember Sandra raised Sunny [Jesse's 6-year-old daughter] as her own for the past five years. Packing her school lunches, brushing her hair, reading her bedtime stories. Sandra even took care of Sunny while Jesse was getting help in rehab."

Sandra and Jesse have been in constant contact since the day in March that Sandra left, however, sources tell me that recently their conversations have been less and less about the children and more about the two of them and everyday stuff.

Every Microsoft employee gets a free Windows Phone 7 handset

Microsoft guru extraordinaire Mary Jo Foley has retweeted a company employee boasting of a commitment to hand out Windows Phone 7 devices to each and every one of Redmond's 90,000-plus employees around the world. That's certainly one way to spread the word -- and realistically, the cost to Microsoft is a drop in the bucket if they can really take advantage of the word-of-mouth advertising effect here. Of course, step one in that process is going to be making sure the product is absolutely rock solid by the time those gratis units start getting handed out. Microsoft staffers do know how to multitask when they're working, right?

T-Mobile USA is latest rumored iPhone suitor

We hear so many iPhone-Verizon-tomorrow-OMG rumors that our nation's brave also-ran carriers hardly get a word in edgewise. While Sprint remains a total longshot, T-Mobile USA is an interesting proposition for the mere fact that it's a GSM network, though its 1700 / 2100 3G network remains ostensibly incompatible with the iPhone 4's existing radio. According to Cult of Mac, a "highly placed source" at T-Mobile let it slip that they've got an 80 percent chance of getting the iPhone in Q3. Now, that's an oddly specific number, and we have no idea what it's contingent on, or how much exactly this source knows. Basically, we don't know a lot here. Of course, the biggest evidence of this possible T-Mobile coup remains the statement from Deutsche Telekom's CEO in March, saying that the USA branch is hoping to get the iPhone later this year. We really don't know who or what to believe, but we do know one thing: if Apple decides to sell a T-Mobile USA iPhone, there's an 80+ percent chance it will tell everybody.

Bing to be the one and only search engine for Windows Phone 7

We knew that Bing was the default search engine for Windows Phone 7 handsets, but earlier information about the mobile OS suggested that carriers and OEM’s could change the search engine as part of the allowed customizations. Apparently that information, which was based upon leaked documents, is now incorrect. In a recent interview with Pocket-Lint, Greg Sullivan, senior product manager for Microsoft, confirmed that Bing is the one and the only search engine for Windows Phone 7 handsets. Sullivan stated that “the search engine has been heavily integrated into the OS, so it would be hard to offer an alternative.” While the default search engine for the device can not be changed, OEMs, carriers, and individuals can presumably add a second search engine via a downloadable application or possibly within the Hub interface. Anyone turned off by this restriction or is it a non-issue?

BoA reveals album jacket to comeback 6th album set to be released on 5th August

Releasing her comeback 6th album on 5th August, BoA gives a sneak peek to her album concept with album jacket photo revealed.

BoA will be back 5 years after her last Korean album ‘Girls On Top’ released in June 2005 with a 6th album. This year is also BoA’s 10th year debut anniversary. And in the past 10 years, we have seen BoA do well both on the Asian music stage and also debuting into the American music scene.

TVB’s promotion tactics: ‘Arranging’ for an artist to win an award

It is rumored that this year, TVB will ‘support’ Raymond Lam to become TV King – whether this is true or not, it’s too early to tell.

However, there is absolutely no doubt that Raymond Lam is currently TVB’s most heavily promoted “biological son”: at the beginning of the year, he received the ‘Asian Region Most Popular Male Singer’ award at JSG, he is the lead in several series airing this year, and he is also the male lead in two TVB/EEG film collaborations.

In order to ‘heavily promote’ an artist in this fashion, it is necessary to plan at least 1 year in advance, otherwise it is almost impossible for the artist to be in one series / film after another.

Within the industry, TVB’s annual Anniversary Awards ceremony has always been considered “a closed-door game among their own family members” – however in recent years, it is obvious that public opinion has been able to play a part in ‘skewing’ the results.

Dell Streak available for purchase 'in late July,' says US product page

It's funny to think, even after reviewing the device (thrice, at this point), that we still don't have an US release date for Dell's Streak. The company's been uncharacteristically coy, but the stateside product page does offer this tantalizing tidbit: "available for purchase in late July." That gives us a good 10-day window, so you've been eyeballing that pre-sale button with intent to click, now might be the time jump on the list.

Verizon Wireless DROID X plagued by Wi-Fi connectivity issues?

Chatter on the forums suggests that the latest update hitting the DROID X has not fixed the WiFi connectivity problem many users were reporting. Affected DROID X owners report that their handsets have difficulty connecting to a WiFi router and poor network performance once a connection has been established. Several users report that changing the encryption from AES to TKIP has alleviated the problem, while others note that changing your router to 802.11g instead of 802.11n has decreased the number of network disconnects. Anyone with a DROID X currently experiencing this problem?

Angelina Jolie: "I Would Be Honored" to Play Cleopatra

Angelina Jolie thinks it would be swell to play the Queen of the Nile.

At Monday's Salt premiere in Hollywood, she told reporters "I would be honored" to play Cleopatra in an upcoming new biopic. "But," Jolie, 35, added, "we haven't gotten the script yet."

Last month, book publisher Little, Brown confirmed that Jolie was in talks to portray the famous Egyptian queen in a film adapation of upcoming historical biography Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra: A Life. "Angelina Jolie radiates grace and power, exactly the qualities that [authpr] Stacy Schiff finds in her biography of the most intriguing ruler who ever lived," Little, Brown publisher Michael Pietsch told Us.

Coincidentally, recent rumors also suggested that Jolie could play Elizabeth Taylor (who took on the Cleopatra role in a 1963 epic) in another future biopic.

"I have never heard that before," Jolie said. "I don't think that anybody could be Elizabeth Taylor better than Elizabeth Taylor."

As for Jolie's current role as a CIA agent on the run in Salt, "I had a great time being her," she gushed Monday. "She is so many different people."

What Life Is Like for Lindsay Lohan Behind Bars

Lindsay Lohan surrendered herself to authorities on Tuesday to begin serving her 90-day jail sentence. But what will life behind bars be like for the 'Mean Girls' actress?

Her cell at the women's correctional facility in Lynwood, California, is 12-by-8 feet, and she will be separated from the other 1,800 prisoners, according to the Associated Press. Lohan joins a list of famous females who've been housed in the same jail, including Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Khloe Kardashian and 'Lost' alum Michelle Rodriguez.

In a twist of fate, Alexis Neiers, star of E!'s 'Pretty Wild,' is in the cell next to Lohan's. Neiers is currently incarcerated for her part in a string of robberies that hit celebrity homes -- including Lohan's, USA Today reports. Yahoo says Lindsay occupies cell 28, with Neiers in 29.

Although Neiers is behind bars specifically for burglarizing Orlando Bloom, a watch stolen from Lindsay was found at the Neiers' home.

Were PC Gamers Too Good For Microsoft's Cross-Platform Gaming Project?

Rahul Sood, Voodoo PC founder and current CTO of gaming at HP, spins an interesting yarn about an aborted Microsoft project that would've let PC and Xbox gamers face-off. The only problem? During testing, the PC gamers cleaned Xboxers' clocks.

In the middle of a rumination on the lukewarm state of PC gaming, Sood divulges some details of a project Microsoft was working on "many many months ago" to let PC and Xbox users face off in games like Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, an effort that would've effectively bridged the gap between Xbox Live and Windows Live.

Sadly for the project, the fight wasn't exactly a fair one:

I've heard from reliable sources that during the development they brought together the best console gamers to play mediocre PC gamers at the same game... and guess what happened? They pitted console gamers with their "console" controller, against PC gamers with their keyboard and mouse.

The console players got destroyed every time. So much so that it would be embarrassing to the XBOX team in general had Microsoft launched this initiative.

Chrome 6: What made the cut--and what missed it

Want the ability to print preview in Chrome? Me, too. But we'll have to wait, because it's one of the features that didn't make the Chrome 6 cut.

Typically in software development, there comes a point when programmers have to turn their attention from adding the fun new technology to making sure what's going to ship actually works. This point, called the code freeze, just happened for Chrome's sixth "milestone."

Google believes in continuously updating its browser, and given its steady encroachment on the turf of Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox and its rapid ascension beyond Opera and Apple's Safari, it's hard to argue too hard with the approach. In June, Chrome climbed to 7.2 percent of worldwide browser usage from to 7.0 percent in May.

When trains leave the station frequently, you don't have to wait as long to catch one. But you still have to wait if you miss a train, and that's what's happened to some Chrome features.

AT&T Comments on Dropped Call Statistics

Responding to an online poll conducted by website Tech-Ex, AT&T gave the world some indication of what their dropped-call rate actually is. Tech-Ex conducted a reader poll that indicated AT&T’s dropped-call — for its readers — was around 4.5% for March of 2010; conversely, Verizon Wireless’ rate came in at 1.5% for the same period. The poll obviously did not sit well with AT&T and a spokesperson responded with a statement and some percentages of their own.

Statistically valid drive test shows the AT&T network continues to deliver the nation’s fastest 3G network and near best-in-class call retainability nationwide. AT&T’s network dropped only 1.44 percent of calls nationwide, within two-tenths of 1 percent of the industry leader and a difference of less than two calls out of 1,000.

Those results, from GWS, show that, on a national basis, AT&T is within just two-tenths of a percent of the industry leader in wireless call retainability. That’s a difference of just two calls in a thousand, a virtual dead-heat.

As you can see, AT&T’s data paints a much different picture with a 1.44% dopped-call rate. What do you think? Go ahead and have yourself a little network rant in the comments.

Will Pan and Sandrine Pinna film a not-so-romantic kiss

Just several days ago, Will Pan and Sandrine Pinna were filming the opening for their upcoming drama, “愛∞無限” (roughly translates to Infinite Love). The two were required to perform a romantic kiss. Although Sandrine had previously revealed her admiration for Will, she was full of regret when she discovered that Will actually ate a bowl of braised pork rice just before the kiss. She responded angrily, “Hurry and give me some garlic!” wanting to “repay” Will for his bad breath.

The Asia-Pacific Best Actress has done little to no kissing scenes prior to this. In her previous film, “Yang Yang,” she had a forced kiss with co-star Bryant Chang. Thus, Sandrine revealed that it’s her first time kissing under her own will. She giggled, “This is my actual first on-screen kiss.” However, Will and Sandrine had only met each other for about five times before filming the scene, which made both of them extremely nervous.

Zuckerberg Makes It Official: Facebook Hits 500 Million Members

This is no surprise to anyone even remotely following the company, but Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg just made it official on the company’s blog: the social network is now 500 million members strong.

According to Zuckerberg, the milestone was hit this morning, which I suspect may be disregarding the exact time just a little.

Either way, Facebook has put together a collection of stories (that page / app is down for me, but is likely being slammed right now) that users have shared with the company, detailing the impact the social network has had on their lives.

HP confirms that Slate is still kicking, 'next steps' being determined

We were quite surprised (to say the least!) to see the original Windows 7 HP Slate 500 appear yesterday on the company's site, and HP officially confirmed this morning that the product is still very much in the works. The outfit's not sharing much, but a spokesperson from its Personal Systems group did tell us that they're "in customer evaluations now and will make a determination soon on the next steps." It all seems very vague and mysterious at this point, but the evidence is surely mounting that we'll be seeing HP join Microsoft's "hardcore" tablet push.
