We haven’t actually heard that date whispered, per se, but here is where our thinking is at. We have confirmed with multiple AT&T store reps that their sales quotas for the month of June are ridiculously high. Yes, this means the iPhone is confirmed to launch in June, not July. Knowing how many units stores received per day/week last year, if the iPhone launched in the last week of June, on Friday the 25th, we’re pretty sure the new sales quotas couldn’t be met (in-store orders don’t count as they don’t get recognized until the customer picks them up). We have heard stores having a 25-30% increase in their sales quota, so we’d like to think the next Apple iPhone will launch on Friday, June 18th. We’ll see pretty shortly.

The film "Triple Trap" directed by Derek Lee is schedule to release in July. In the movie, Louis Koo and Daniel Wu's many gun shooting scenes are full of flavor. Louis was also arranged to be romantically connected with both Charlene Choi and Li Bing Bing. Louis smiled and said that he's not sure if the director knew Daniel got married, so he deliberately did not arrange any love relationships for him, ending his fate with beautiful women.
In the movie, Ah Sa and Li Bing Bing's roles both fights for Louis. Ah Sa plays a nurse who is soft inside and tough outside, which is very different from Li Bing Bing's tough policewoman role. She said that for every scene, the director had to explain her character's emotions, giving her a good experience on acting.

The verdict is still out on OS 6, but there's hardly any doubting the assured design and form factor that RIM has gone with for the BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider. Our latest look at the device comes courtesy of BlackBerry Times in China, who has what appears to be an early version of the device. They expect the smooth plastic back to be replaced by the leather look RIM favors on its higher end devices, but otherwise the unit looks to be pretty solid and far along. The Google-translated Chinese seems to confirm again that the screen is not SurePress. Not a lot of landmark news to be gleaned here, but we're mostly stoked about these delicious bokeh-filled shots of device -- it's really looking good, and the comparison shot with other recent BlackBerries (check after the break) is rather helpful for sizing this thing up.

If you have been waiting for HTC EVO 4G, the latest and greatest Android superphone from Sprint, the wait is over.
Sprint has officially launched HTC EVO 4G handset today, and you can pick one up for $199, on a two year contract at a local Sprint store, RadioShack, Walmart, Best Buy, or online.
Since it’s announcement during CTIA in April, Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G was probably the most hyped up Android smartphone in U.S. We’ll have to wait and see how that translates into actual demand. But, just in case Sprint has a huge blockbuster on it’s hands, be aware that Verizon and HTC are having big troubles keeping up with demand for the second most hyped Android handset in U.S. – Droid Incredible. So if you really want to get your EVO 4G soon, be sure to do it ASAP.

The iPad offers a great web browsing experience — maybe the best on any device (assuming you don’t want to go to a site that uses Flash). But it could still be better. For example, it would be nice to have actual tabs, rather than the bogus window system the iPad uses. That system makes sense on the iPhone where there isn’t much screen real estate, but there’s plenty on the iPad. Undoubtedly it’s a memory issue just as much as anything else, but it’s one of the things designer Markus Schmeiduch was thinking about when he decided to do some mock-ups of how Google Chrome might run on an iPad.
Schmeiduch acknowledges that due to the restrictions on JavaScript engines, Chrome for the iPad is not likely to be a reality anytime soon (not to mention the relationship between Apple and Google at the moment), but that hasn’t stopped him from dreaming. On top of real tabs, his Chrome for iPad gives us Google cloud-synced bookmarks, gestures, and even some Chrome OS features.
The crazy cats over at Droid Life are back once again with yet another leak of the Motorola MB810 which Droid Life claims will be sold as the Droid Xtreme and not the Droid Shadow. In the past we have seen this phone from various angles, but this is the first time we’ve ever seen its backside. Two things to take away from these pics. First is the camera which is clearly labelled as 8 megapixels with HD video and is flanked by a dual-LED flash. The second thing is UI customization. We’ve already seen the Xtreme powered on, but this picture gives us a much clearer look at the more subtle UI customization brought forth in what some are calling “ninja blur.” Are you liking how the Xtreme is shaping up?

If you don't know the names yongzh and ZodTTD, you can certainly be forgiven, but they're basically the cell phone emulation dream team -- where the former has been cranking out high-quality Nintendo and Sega emulators for Android, the latter is the one who brought PSX to iPhone, iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre. Today, we hear they're collaborating on a PSX emulator for Android that's running faster than the 3GS version -- before Froyo's even factored into the equation -- and that when his domination over the PSX is complete, ZodTTD intends to begin work on an Nintendo 64 emulator for Android, and then VLC. Without letting our enthusiasm get the better of us, let's just say it's an exciting time to be an Android owner, to say the least.

Junsu, Jaejoong, and Yoochun of TVXQ are planning to release a worldwide album and walk hand in hand with American pop moguls. Famous Korean and American composers and producers, including, Kim Hyung Sik and Timbaland, are supposed to participate in their new album.
A representative explained, “For this album project, we are going to collaborate with famous album distribution companies. Even though it’s a worldwide album, it’s main target is toward Asia. The 3-membered TVXQ has a large possibility of heading to the U.S later this month to start recording. Plans of working on an album with Kim Hyung Sik are true, but official plans are not ready to be revealed yet.”
Lesbianism is killing family-friendly television and Ellen DeGeneres is the reason Americans just aren’t that into Idol — at least that’s the story religious crusader Gary McCullough is telling.
What are our thoughts on this?
On Thursday, the director of the Washington-based Christian Newswire penned a hilariously headscratching editorial indirectly blaming the gay community for the sharp decline in ratings during the past ninth season of American Idol. According to McCullough, longtime Idol viewers are switching the channel because Emmy-winning talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is now a judge on the program. He argues that the comedienne’s “gay agenda” conflicts with the “family entertainment” component of the show and makes fans uncomfortable. Or something.

Always thought the iPad should've really just been an enlarged iPhone? No, seriously -- like an iPhone after one of those "Honey, I Blew Up the Kids" incidents? Well, iiView is bringing just that to market this month, except its M1Touch runs Windows 7 Premium and packs an Intel Atom N450 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It also has a 250GB hard drive and a 1.3-megapixel cam on its left bezel. We finally got to see the tablet up close and personal -- it's been under lock and key in the Microsoft booth all week -- and it's pretty much the biggest iPhone you've ever seen. The capacitive touchscreen was fairly responsive, though there was a noticeable lag in opening programs. We're told it also has an accelerometer and that the familiar circular button on the right bezel will bring you back to the desktop, but both were disabled on the display model. Around the edges you'll spot a trio of ports, a SIM slot, a mini HDMI output and a microphone jack. As for the actual feel of this thing, it's pretty thick from the sides and weighs 1.5 pounds. Chances are that you stopped reading this post a few minutes ago and started clicking through the gallery to see shots of bugger alongside a normal iPhone, but we'd encourage you to also peek the video waiting just past the break. Oh, and if you'd like to give your iPhone an inferiority complex, you can always head on over to that source link and order one of these for $499.

Apparently there's some stampede on 3G iPads, which are in short supply, so that new customers can activate $30 3G unlimited plans before Monday, when they're banished forever. As a solution, AT&T is considering selling the iPad 3G data plan without an iPad 3G over the weekend—one that could be linked to your iPad if/when you ever get it. That's right. Buy data you won't be able to use! I'm curious as to whether this fringe group—tech savvy Apple fanboys who didn't buy an iPad 3G before but kinda want one now since AT&T went douchebag on us—actually exists.

It's here! The Evo 4G is now on sale at Sprint's online webstore. Oh, sales are limited to five per customer just in case you're planning to go nuts. Now get out of here, the future is waiting.

Gillian Chung and Alex Fong had a past, in 2004, where the sex scandal had surfaced and in 2005, the media reported of their Switzerland trip together. Also, the breakup between Edison and her had left their friendship broken. The day before, Gillian was asked if felt 'sour' when she knew about the alleged couple's marriage rumour, said that she too has plans to get married and took the initiative to ask the reporters for a good recommendation and declared she would get married immediately if they had one and not lose to the 'old love'.
Asking on behalf of the media
When asked if she knew of the couple's plans to get hitched, she answered quickly, "Of course not! I'm not a particularly nosey person, I don't even read the company's magazines. But even if I don't read, this question is unavoidable in an interview. There are many things you don't have to know, and this news doesn't concern me; I'll ask on the behalf of the media when I see him in 2 days!"
