Ronan Keating's sex texts: Affair exposed after wife found secret phone

Yvonne Keating’s world fell apart as she scrolled through the texts on her pop star husband’s secret mobile phone.

The unsuspecting mum of three was left heartbroken as the explicit messages revealed Boyzone heart-throb Ronan had been unfaithful.

A source said yesterday: “Yvonne had no idea about the existence of the phone. She just chanced upon it and decided to go through the messages.

“There were some quite suggestive texts that left little to the imagination. Yvonne went ballistic and told him it was over there and then.

“Ronan knew he was completely busted and put his hands up to it all. There was no point denying it. He broke down in tears and admitted everything.”

The dancer in question is believed to be stunning Francine Cornell, 26, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yvonne, 36.

More rumor: Lingerie Model Replacing Megan Fox in Transformers 3

A Victoria's Secret model is the rumored replacement for Megan Fox in the next Transformers movie.

On the last episode of Unattainable Women Tales we saw Megan Fox quit the role she played in the first two Transfomers movies, with members of the film crew calling her "dumb." If an insider source for Geek Week can be believed, her replacement will be a Victoria's Secret lingerie model with relatively little acting experience.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the named model that may be taking the limelight from Fox as the chick that gets to make-out with Shia LaBeouf and act scared of giant robots in Transformers 3. Her list of previous acting roles is somewhat short aside from playing herself in a couple of reality shows, according to IMDB anyway.

Even Megan Fox had a decent resume before director Michael Bay cast her in the first Transformers movie, so remaining skeptical is as optimal as Optimus until official confirmation comes through the wire. Collider's take is that Whiteley's casting makes perfect sense, as Bay loves to cast relative unknowns and catapult them to stardom.

Google Confirms Froyo Launch: “The roll out to Nexus One devices has begun!”

Last last night (early this morning) there was some confusion about our post indicating that Android 2.2, Froyo, had started to roll out. Some thought we had Photoshopped the pictures (I wish I was that good at Photoshop), others though we were just using the developer build, and others thought we got some sort of special press copy. But rest easy people, I have in my inbox a confirmation from Google that says the following: “The roll out to Nexus One devices has begun!“

Naturally, I asked the company what the deal was with the roll out, since I was as surprised as anyone to see 2.2 ready to install on my device when I picked it up last night. After all, Google itself had just tweeted out that the new OS would be available on the Nexus One in the “next few weeks.” But that looks to be a solid under-promise, over-deliver — very nice, Google.

Actually, like many other Google roll-outs, this will be a staggered one. So it may be a couple of weeks before everyone gets it (Google didn’t say). And yes, it does look like a lot of members of the press are getting it first (maybe because we got the device at the Nexus One launch event prior to its launch, who knows). But again, it is starting to roll out to everyone.

Mystery Motorola Droid (Shadow?) spotted with Verizon branding, set to be starting somethin'

Why hello there... you. Over at the HowardForums, a certain "wnrussell" has uploaded a picture of what looks to be a Getting Started manual for a Verizon-bound Motorola Droid that we can't recall ever seeing before. There's unfortunately no other information provided at the moment, except maybe a hint from the filename: Shadow. Is this the same 4.3-inch phone we've been seeing rumored for some time now? At any rate, we gotta say, this is a pretty attractive device -- and if that's a new hue for Motoblur, we're all for it. Now how about pulling out a secret slide-out keyboard to make our lives complete...

Google’s Gift Already On Resale: Sprint’s HTC Evo 4G Pops Up On eBay, Craigslist

Google I/O conference, giving all 4,000 plus attendees the Evo 4G, the new HTC Android phone being sold via Sprint. The phone is set to be released to the public on June 4, but attendees have gotten a sneak peak of the impressive device. Of course, many of these lucky recipients have already been quick to start peddling the phone on Craigslist and eBay, for as much as $1200.

On eBay, ‘buy it now’ price points range from $600-$1200, with many at $650-$750 range. Prices are more reasonable on Craigslist’s San Francisco site, with many of the devices being offered at $500-ish (the range is between $450-$750). There were a few offers to purchase an Evo for $250, with one person willing to buy it for $500.

Of course, if you wait until June 4, the Evo costs $199 with a two-year contract with Sprint. Usage plans start at $69.99 a month plus a $10 charge for 4G service. The plus of buying now? You get a free month of service with the Google I/O phone. Also, many of the sellers may be international recipients who cannot use the phone outside of the U.S.

HP Taiwan reportedly reaffirms pre-October launch for webOS tablet

Don't mind us taking a few grains of salt on this one, but according Digitimes, HP Taiwan Vice President Monty Wong has confirmed a webOS-powered tablet is due out in the market before the fiscal year ending in October. This jibes with what we heard earlier this month, including the common sense caveat that more details will be forthcoming only after the Palm acquisition is completed near the end of July. Now, we won't be surprised one iota if this comes to fruition -- HP itself has gone on record numerous times as wanting to throw the onetime mobile-exclusive OS on everything from tablets (yay) to printers (huh). Still, everything we know about it so far comes via words and whispers to third-party sources, or the voice in our head dreaming up ideal product lines -- neither of which, unfortunately, we can put our complete trust in.

Van Ness Wu becomes the latest Brother Sharp

The real Brother Sharp might have lost his edge after returning home, but the legacy of his “street-style” lives on with stars like Leon Lai, Leehom Wang, Peter ho and now, Van Ness Wu!

Van Ness Wu became the latest star to channel Brother Sharp in his new commercial. He was dressed in a “Sharp” style knee-length jacket and wore a wig that closely resembled to the original. Van Ness's face was covered in shoe polish and the smoky eyes makeup sure added a touch of melancholy. The video was shot entirely in Hong Kong, in which his character was a beggar before getting a makeover. In the end, Van Ness-Sharp turned himself into a trendy man and picked up his bride in a Rolls Royce.

Louis Koo will visit Shanghai EXPO, and Joey has put on weight!

Louis Koo and Joey Yung were in Tsuen Wan CityWalk yesterday. They were guests of honor for Samantha Lisa Beauty Group shop opening and enjoying the fun of ribbon-cutting ceremony. Louis was overwhelmed by a few dozen female workers that it took him a while to get on stage.

Joey revealed that she has been working in the mainland these days that she has put on a lot of weight. She reckoned mostly are water, therefore she is thinking of having treatment to get rid of the excessive water in her body. Louis took the opportunity to suggest to the boss to open up a shop next to the Hengdian film studio. This is because he works there a lot and it would be more convenience for him to have a body massage anytime he wants. Louis went on to say that he will be working on Johnnie To's movie "Single men and women" later on. He is also going to Shanghai to attend the film festival for the movie "King of Double Tap". Louis had thought about going to the Shanghai EXPO while he is there, but he reckons it will be packed with tourists. Therefore, he is going to make another arrangement to go there later on.

Adam Lambert: On the Set of "If I Had You" Video

Ready to return to the set of Adam Lambert's "If I Had You?"

Earlier this week, we gave fans a look at the artist's upcoming music video for that single, via this series of photos from it.

Now, we've returned with even more eccentric shots of Adam and his back-up singers/dancers. An insider describes the video as “Willy Wonka meets Thriller meets Interview With The Vampire,” which sounds like the sort of thing Lambert would come up with.

Looks like it, too...

'Shrek' bows to $20 million Friday; 'MacGruber' fizzles

Is it ogre for the Shrek franchise? According to Friday’s numbers, things are not looking nearly as rosy as prognosticators originally thought. While a $20 million Friday is nothing to sneeze at, it’s not even close to the number needed for the animated flick to reach $100 million, as most believed it would. More likely, the fourth installment in this $1 billion franchise will gross $70 million for the weekend, far short of the $122 million that Shrek the Third grossed its opening weekend, and that film didn’t boast the higher 3-D ticket prices. According to the tracking numbers Shrek Forever After was looking like an $80 million opening, but industry insiders were much more bullish on the film crossing the $100 million mark, in similar fashion to its two predecessors. Perhaps the PG-rated movie will surprise today and tomorrow but it’s now close to impossible that the fourth installment of this animated juggernaut will reach the heights originally predicted.

MacGruber has also disappointed. The R-rated spoof based on Will Forte’s Saturday Night Live character took in a meager $1.5 million Friday and will have to fight holdover Just Wright for a fifth slot in the weekend derby. The film, financed by Relativity Media and released by Universal Pictures in a service deal, is unlikely to cross the $5 million mark for the three-day period.

Android 2.2 Already Sneaking Onto Nexus Ones

Sometimes there are advantages to staying up really late at night. I had just laid down in my bed to try and get some sleep before an early flight to New York tomorrow when I remembered I hadn’t charged my Nexus One. I reached over to my bedside table to grab it, and I see an alert letting me know a system update is available. Having just read numerous reports that Android 2.2 would be coming to the device in the “next few weeks” I figured this couldn’t be the new OS codenamed “Froyo.” But it was.

Yes, apparently Google is starting to roll out the Android 2.2 Froyo update to Nexus One devices right now. I just tried the EVO 4G (the newest Android phone which Google gave out at Google I/O this week) but 2.2 isn’t available for that device yet. I guess being the “Google Phone” has its advantages. Nexus One owners, if you’re up, check for an update right now.

Apple iPhone video conferencing info

Like we need any more proof, right? Even so, the more confirmation the better we say, and one of our Apple guys has sent us in some shots of the field test firmware for the new iPhone HD (or whatever it is), and we’ve got them right here for you. They are pretty self explanatory, and there is one more after the break!

Going Gaga for a Lady: No Bad Romance as star cavorts on Saint Tropez love boat

There was no sign of Bad Romance as this Lady proved she goes Gaga for girls.

And with her endless schedule of performances across the globe, it's no wonder Lady Gaga has decided to take a well-earned break.

On a yacht off the French coast, the admittedly bisexual star, could barely contain her Poker Face as she rolled around with a mystery brunette companion.

According to one onlooker, the couple appeared to be playing a LoveGame on her break in Saint Tropez, seemingly not fussed by the attentions of the Paparazzi.

Elin Nordegren Wants $750m From Tiger Woods

ELIN Nordegren is going for the green!

Elin — the cheated wife of golf superstar Tiger Woods — wants a $750m cut of her husband’s fortune in their divorce negotiations, according the Chicago Sun-Times.

Woods hasn’t agreed yet, the paper says — but if he does he wants total silence from his soon-to-be ex about the collapse of their marriage.

Former Swedish model Woods — who also wants full custody of their two kids even though it was first thought the couple were going to agree to joint custody — has so far said no to signing a lifetime “confidentiality clause” that would prevent her from writing a book or doing any interviews about the split.

Sources said the divorce negotiations “have turned extremely testy” and the couple no longer talk to each other.

Jay Chou has claustrophobia; scared of buying a plane

Singing "Superman Can't fly", disclosing the thoughts of a heavenly king, in the new album "Hip Hop Air Hostess" and more, there are 3 songs related to flying, and it reflects his busy circumstances. Jay Chou buys cars without a second glance, but he smiled saying he has claustrophobia so he won't be splashing out on a private jet.

His new album is called "The Era" and Jay Chou revealed that originally they planned to use a fighter aircraft for the cover. He would board it looking handsome; a symbol of travelling through time, continuing the concept of music and bringing the fans a mixed style of Chinese and Western flying forward. However, because of time constraints they didn't have time to rent a fighter jet, and the idea had to be scrapped.

Earning a few hundred million annually, buying a plane is not hard. Jay Chou is often travelling from here to there, yet he's never thought about buying a private jet because he has claustrophobia. When he gets on a plane he's too scared to look behind, "Like being on an elevator, if it stops halfway, I might go crazy." So when he gets on the plane he immediately goes to sleep, he's never had the experience of flirting with pretty girls like in "Hip Hop Air Hostess".

G-Dragon performs Heartbreaker with Flo Rida

With the big performances happening at the 2010 Dream Concert, Big Bang’s G-Dragon also had a pretty big performance himself. Back in March, G-Dragon released a special version of his hit single Heartbreaker featuring Flo-Rida and last month we reported that G-Dragon would appear as a special guest at Flo-Rida’s concert in Korea. Well that day has finally arrived and G-Dragon performed Heartbreaker with Flo-Rida!

Perhaps TVB needs some competition in order to improve (Part 2 in a series)

Out of those who hope for TVB to improve, roughly half feel that in these past few years, TVB’s priorities have been misplaced – without much competition to fire it up, the station’s focus has been on reducing production costs and so recently have not developed any ‘creative’ new shows.

For those shows that are supposedly based on ‘new ideas’ – many times, we can find the ‘original form’ of the show when we look to the TV stations in other Asian regions, so in actuality, the shows cannot be attributed entirely to the ‘creativity’ of the locals (Hong Kong). In fact, even in the area of ‘basing on original’, Hong Kong often lags behind – just looking at the concept of ‘similar shows’: China, Taiwan, and other neighboring regions often come out with shows that are based on similar ideas faster than TVB does.

In the past, TVB rarely bought broadcasting rights for series and other programs produced overseas, however in the past few years, this has happened more often – unfortunately, the reason is primarily due to the lack of emphasis placed on its own creativity (hence the shrinking of production costs and resources).
