Yvonne Keating’s world fell apart as she scrolled through the texts on her pop star husband’s secret mobile phone.
The unsuspecting mum of three was left heartbroken as the explicit messages revealed Boyzone heart-throb Ronan had been unfaithful.
A source said yesterday: “Yvonne had no idea about the existence of the phone. She just chanced upon it and decided to go through the messages.
“There were some quite suggestive texts that left little to the imagination. Yvonne went ballistic and told him it was over there and then.
“Ronan knew he was completely busted and put his hands up to it all. There was no point denying it. He broke down in tears and admitted everything.”
The dancer in question is believed to be stunning Francine Cornell, 26, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yvonne, 36.
She and Ronan first became close on the sell-out Boyzone tour last year. They are believed to have kept in contact over the past 12 months and during his recent solo tour.
A friend said: “She’s very bubbly, outgoing and extremely attractive.” Blue-eyed Francine, from Leeds, has a stunning size eight figure. She is described as “incredibly professional” by fellow dancers who say she also has an ambitious streak and rarely turns down work.
Dance teacher Donald McLennan, of Millennium Performing Arts where she trained for three years, said: “She was a determined, hardworking and very popular student.”
Insiders said her friendship with Ronan, 33, didn’t go unnoticed by other people working on the tour. One said: “They appeared to get on really well and could often be seen laughing and joking together. There seemed to be a distinct chemistry between them.”
It is believed the remorseful singer has been bombarding devastated Yvonne with calls and texts since she ended their 12-year marriage.
But so far the former model has refused to listen to his desperate pleas for forgiveness.
Ronan told a close friend yesterday: “I’m not giving up my marriage just like that. I hope and pray I can win Yvonne back and patch things up.” The singer broke down in tears as he poured out his heart after spending the night at a pal’s home.
The source added: “Ronan hasn’t slept a wink. He’s desperately worried he’s lost Yvonne forever. He knows he’s made a terrible mistake.
“But he is ready to fight to save their marriage and has even told Yvonne he will quit plans to go to Australia for three months if she takes him back.
“He was due to be a judge on the Australian version of X Factor but that is all up in the air now.
“He spent about an hour trying to talk Yvonne round but she kept shaking her head and crying her eyes out. At one point she just screamed at him, ‘Get out!’. Ronan feels he’s ruined his life. It’s a complete mess.
“He’s desperate to get things back on track, but it won’t be easy. Yvonne says his betrayal has destroyed everything and she will never get over it.”
Friends say Ronan’s bandmates Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham have rallied round to offer him their support.
Yvonne – who had pointedly removed her wedding ring yesterday – was being comforted at her £1million home near Dublin by Keith’s wife, Lisa.
