Super Junior HanKyung talks about the reason to why he got into a legal disagreement with his agency SM Entertainment, “It was because I was put through great stress and I even wanted to commit suicide.”
HanKyung appeared on a Taiwanese program ‘Song ChunHwa Life Show’ on 17th August where he said, “The reason why I sued SM was because of the great stress I was put through and I even thought of suicide.”
With that, the MC said, “Your father sent a letter from Beijing.” In the letter, even though all that was written was just greetings, the great love from his father can be felt. Part of the letter went, “Have your flu recovered? Take care of your body. I know my son is going through a hard time. But think of your fans and endure.”

Nokia X3-02

Nokia has just announced the X3-02 Touch and Type – one of the most interesting S40 phones ever, because it’s the first to have a fully functional touchscreen display (2.4 inch, QVGA).
It also has a standard alphanumeric keypad, and that makes it even more interesting.
Sure enough, the idea isn’t new: Nokia has made somewhat similar handsets before, like the 3208c and 6208c. But those are made exclusively for the Chinese market, are stylus-operated and I have my doubts about them being full-touch enabled.

2NE1 will be back with a new album on 9th September.
YG Entertainment posted a message on 17th August, “2NE1 will release their full length 1st album on 9th September. There will be 12 songs in total in the album, and the album will be titled ‘To Anyone’. Of the 12 songs, 6 songs are new songs, 4 songs are from their previously-released digital singles and 2 songs are bonus tracks.”
“There will be 3 songs assigned as the title songs and the girls will promote them at the same time. As a music producer, even though I’ve heard of a double title song, this will be the first time I hear about 3 songs as the title songs. Everyone will get to learn about them in a while.”

Samsung Galaxy S
,
0 Comments
You may have noticed the update on our Epic 4G review from yesterday where we lauded the fact that Samsung seemed to have fixed the GPS problem plaguing every other Galaxy S flavor released thus far, but it turns out there are actually two distinct issues. One has a fix -- sort of -- while the other is hopefully what we're going to get next month. Here are the two failure modes, based on what we know so far:
- "Use wireless networks" is now turned off by default, but even with it on, the phone may be slow or unable to determine even a rough location. Originally, we'd believed this was the only problem. Samsung tells us that it's a new Google mandate that Android devices be shipped with the "use wireless networks" option disabled, which means you're relying on traditional GPS alone to determine your location -- a lost cause indoors, in urban canyons, or under dense tree cover. Indeed, we discovered it was turned off on our Captivate, Vibrant, and Epic 4G after fresh hard resets, and there's no indication to the user that it's probably in their best interest to enable it; we're accustomed to being presented with the option during account setup on other Android devices, but it doesn't happen here. After enabling it from settings, we found that both the Captivate and Epic 4G were able to get our location with 1,000 to 1,500-meter accuracy practically immediately in Google Maps, though the Vibrant still never came through; it had the weakest signal of the three, which may have accounted for that (though it never dropped the signal altogether).
- The regular GPS circuitry and software aren't doing their job. Cell tower triangulation and WiFi location database services like Skyhook only take you so far -- at the end of the day, you still need to tune in to the birds a few thousand miles up to figure out precisely where you are. All Galaxy S models seem to be having trouble turning GPS reception into coordinates, even when the phone is able to see four or more satellites in view (four is the minimum you normally need for a precise, three-dimensional lock). In some cases, resetting the phone apparently helps, but it ceases to work again after a day or two of use. To our knowledge, none of the homebrew fixes out there have been able to solve this part of the problem perfectly and permanently. The Captivate and Vibrant are both affected by this one; we're not sure on the Epic, but we're working to nail it down.
What this means for you: for now, simply make sure you have "Use wireless networks" checked in your Galaxy S's settings under the "Location & security" menu. It won't get you the most reliable, precise location you should be entitled to, but it's a start -- and next month's round of firmware updates should hopefully take us the rest of the way.

A talent that goes by the name of Yoo Nina has been under the microscope lately, with all kinds of scary attacks coming from fans of SHINee.
How are SHINee fans involved, you ask?
Some fans took note of Yoo Nina when they saw her with who they thought was SHINee’s Jonghyun. However, the person she was with ended up being a lookalike that goes by the same name.
We've known that proper Xbox Live gaming (powered by XNA) was coming to Windows Phone 7 devices, but we'd yet to see any of that thumb-spraining goodness in action besides a brief demo and a few developer videos. Well, Microsoft has finally come clean with details about its launch strategy for the platform, and from where we sit, it's definitely looking pretty promising. First off, the company has announced a full list of launch titles for WP7 handsets, including some familiar names and franchises like Castlevania, Halo: Waypoint, Star Wars, Crackdown, and Guitar Hero, alongside a handful of newer properties like the ultra-cute ilomilo, produced in-house by Microsoft Game Studios. In total, the company will launch with over 60 game titles, with new offerings appearing every week in the Xbox Live Marketplace, just like its big brother console version. We've got all the details, a full list of the launch titles, and our hands-on preview after the break -- so read on to get the scoop!

Although debuted for many years, Raymond Lam who has all along been in Hong Kong finally came to Chengdu for the first time to attend the Chengdu news conference for "The Jade and the Pearl". Even though fans were unable to enter the location of the news conference, a crowd of fans were waiting outside the venue holding lit "Fung" signs. Ah Sa who has visited Chengdu on numerous occasions expressed that she is willing to be Raymond's tour guide around Chengdu. Ah Sa revealed that being a "good eating partner," on the way to Chengdu, the two had already chatted on the plane and must go eat hotpot in the evening: "It really is very tasty, it's a completely different taste than in Hong Kong." Perhaps it's because of filming as lovers in "The Jade and the Pearl", each time the two answer questions of this sort, there is complete tacit understanding. When asked by reporters whether Charlene had any particular view on love after filming this romantic comedy, Ah Sa replied: "Leave it to fate." Raymond immediately responded that his own view is the same: "Relationship matters, let nature take its course."
With Chinese Valentine's Day (Double-Seventh Day) coming up, acting as lovers in the movie, Charlene and Raymond naturally have to 'express' themselves. At yesterday's Beijing news conference, the scene of Charlene and Raymond eating strawberries led many to 'drop their glasses.' Today in Chengdu, Raymond came out with 999 red roses as a present to Ah Sa, wishing her a happy Chinese Valentine's Day. Faced with so many roses, Ah Sa both happy and worried commented: "I love roses the most, this is my first time being given so many roses. But there's one problem, how do I bring them all back to Hong Kong?"

Terrific news, laptop shoppers. Toshiba's concept-turned-commercial Libretto W100 is now on sale in the US of A, but there's no telling how long it'll remain in stock. We heard from the get-go that this dual-screen wonder would only be a limited run, and just a week after going on sale in Japan, the W105-L251 is getting prepped right now for a shipping label with your address on it. $1,099.99 buys you a Pentium U5400 processor, Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit), integrated Intel HD graphics, a memory card reader, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 62GB solid state drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an inbuilt webcam and an 8-cell battery. Oh, and twin 7-inch WSVGA LCD panels. Toshiba reckons that you'll get yours in "2 to 3 weeks" if you order direct, though Amazon has a pre-sale of its own going for those who like to press their luck.

Danielle Staub is firing back at reports claiming she's been let go from Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New Jersey.' Staub, who is known for her controversial on-screen catfights, insists we haven't seen the last of her. "Actually, I'm not even thinking about season three right now, as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me," Staub tells PopEater in an official statement. "Right now, I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don't worry next year, I'll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love."
Life & Style claims Staub hasn't been invited back for the show's third season, adding it "came as a complete shock" (via Huffington Post).
An insider adds that Staub is working on a spin-off reality series (like Bethenny Frankel's), which will focus on her life and her daughter's careers.

15 years ago today, Microsoft launched Internet Explorer 1.0, the first version of a browser that would eventually command nearly 95% market share. Happy birthday IE, you've been around for hyperlinks, hash tags, and everything in between.
When it was introduced to the world on August 16, 1995, Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.0 was a retooled version of a browser called Mosaic, licensed by Microsoft from a company called Spyglass Incorporated.

iPads?! We don’t need no stinking iPads! Shantanu Narayen, Adobe’s CEO, was recently asked about his feelings on Apple’s iPad, more specifically the Cupertino company’s reluctance to allow Adobe’s Flash platform on their popular tablet. Mr. Narayen did not mince words when he responded to the inquiries, “Apple have made their choice, we’ve made ours and we’ve moved on,” quipped the CEO. Adobe’s chief continued: “There are companies that are choosing to provide a complete end-to-end experience and control every aspect of it and want all the business model gains from it. There are other companies that have chosen to say that the open eco-system is the way to go and that’s how you would contrast Apple and Google’s business models. We’re on the side of the open.” Before ending the interview Narayen said he felt that the whole situation was a bit overplayed and that his company’s “doors were open.”

For those of you still holding out for the HTC Droid Incredible, good news! The smartphone is now in stock again, but you might want to act fast on this one as there’s no telling how long it will last.
The Droid Incredible has been incredibly popular since its debut onto the smartphone scene, with demand surpassing the supply back in May. But between high demand and a AMOLED shortage, the Droid Incredible has been on back order for most of the summer. Verizon Wireless even issued gift cards to waiting customers just to keep them happy…and perhaps to prevent them from buying other large summer releases like the iPhone 4, Droid X and now the Droid 2.
But now, the Incredible is live for purchase on Verizon’s website again. Pricing is set still at $199.99 after rebates, with the signing of a two-year service agreement and picking up a data plan.
The Droid Incredible is lined up to get an Android 2.2 update this month, so it looks like the stars are truly aligning for Verizon. Well, with the exception of that big product roadmap leak this morning.

Mel Gibson crashed his car in Malibu on Sunday night. The actor lost control of his vehicle and struck a rocky hillside, sources tell TMZ.
"For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside. He stopped his car at the scene and was contacted by officers from the West Valley CHP Area," the report reads. "Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement, and received a ride home from a friend."
Enough damage was done to Gibson's 2008 Maserati that it had to be towed from the scene of the accident. Mel himself was fine. Police inform TMZ that alcohol was not a factor.
A rep for the actor told PEOPLE, "He's fine."
Gibson told an officer on the scene he was not talking on phone and had not dozed off.

One of our Apple sources has just informed us of something very interesting. Way down deep within iOS 4 is a pretty intriguing block of code. Our source says that the code queries the device, and if the device is either a CDMA iPhone or iPad 2, the device will auto-activate, thus bypassing the need for iTunes. We’re told this block of code has appeared every year consecutively before a major iPhone / device release, removed right before launch. This allows the products to be field tested by carriers (or partners) without having to activate the handsets or devices. Whether Apple has done this to make sure AT&T or other carriers looking at activation logs don’t find anything, or just for the sake of simplicity isn’t clear.
Lastly, we’ve been told from a separate source that the platform code of the CDMA iPhone is N92AP (Daring Fireball’s John Gruber has said it was N92), and the platform code for the next-gen iPod touch is N81AP.
