Britney Spears appeared to be totally back on track and in the best shape of her life as she arrived for her second week's work in the studio yesterday.
Looking stunning in a white vest top - and bra for once - along with taupe tuxedo-style shorts and super-high wedge sandals, the star appeared toned, healthy and happy.
And the miraculous transformation of her legs ensured the blonde singer's remains the world's best advert for exercise.
Just two weeks ago her wobbly thighs and dumpy look told a very different story.
Dressed in cut down shorts and a tank top, Britney's legs didn't appear to be in such great shape, as she grabbed a frozen coffee from Starbucks. But she seems to have done something to turn it around, as she unveiled a stunning pair of legs in her tuxedo shorts yesterday.
It was for once a good look for the singer who has in the past made some rather dubious sartorial choices.
And at one point became more well known for her habit of stepping outside without any underwear.
Former Sports Illustrated model turned actress Molly Sims, has said she would love to give Britney a makeover.
'I would take away the boots, the tank tops,' Sims, 37, told Health magazine.
'She’s so pretty - she just needs help with dressing. She gets too many trends going at once.'
The formerly troubled mother of two, 28, popped into Westlake studios on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles and seemed so thrilled to be back at work.
She tweeted: 'What's uuupppp tweethearts? Spending the day in the studio recording.'
Madonna, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson and Alanis Morrisette have all graced its sound booths before so fans will be hoping for great things from the Toxic singer.
The album will be the follow-up to her 2008 offering Circus.
That had a fraught gestation, as it followed her very public breakdown in February 2007 when she shaved her head, as well as her spell on a mental health ward in January 2008.
And after a police raid she her lost custody of her children, Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three.
Since then, Britney has found stablility with boyfriend Jason Trawick despite ditching him as her manager after completing fifth highest grossing tour of 2009 with Circus show.
One magazine today suggested it was his threat to dump her that prompted her to get back into shape.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the singer is to make a cameo appearance in hit US TV series Glee. Show creator Ryan Murphy said the star would appear as part of a 'reverential' episode featuring her music.
He said: 'It's about her music and not her personal life. I really admire what she's done with her life and how she's turned things around.'
