World Premiere: "The Big Bang" Starring Miley Cyrus

After two weeks of short glimpses at "That Big Bang," a mysterious new project showcasing Miley Cyrus, E! News finally premiered the full-length music video—and we've got it all right here for you!

Featuring a song by her producing team Rock Mafia, Miley stars alongside Gossip Girl's Kevin Zegers in a video that's full of mysterious plot twists. The two appear to be in some kind of relationship (or are they?) that was pretty ideal (if it was even real?) and then an awful car crash happened that would definitely have killed poor Miley (or maybe she was already dead?).

Point is, we're not really sure what exactly happened so let's hear what Miley has to say about the video...

"The video is unique and honestly, was a life-changing experience," she tells E! News. "This song means a lot to me."

Well, that is very special but what does it all mean?!

Guess we'll just have to figure out our "The Big Bang" theories on our own. E! News will air interviews with Miley and Kevin as well as some behind-the-scenes footage later in the week, so we'll see if that helps.

In the meantime you can download "The Big Bang" single on iTunes and let us know what you think of the video!

Leonardo DiCaprio set to star as a serial killer in 'The Devil in the White City'

Talk about a killer role: Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star as one of the most notorious murderers in U.S. history in a big-screen adaptation of Erik Larson’s 2003 nonfiction bestseller The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness at the Fair That Changed America. DiCaprio will play Herman Webster Mudgett, alias H. H. Holmes, a serial killer who confessed to murdering 27 people — and may have killed as many as 200 — during the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. The devilishly charming Holmes had a sick and twisted m.o., part Norman Bates and part Hannibal Lecter: He built a hotel, later dubbed the “murder castle,” to lure his victims to their death, outfitting it with a gas chamber and a dissecting table. Tom Cruise had initially optioned Devil in the White City and planned to play the role of Holmes, but DiCaprio was so determined to play the part he developed his own rival Holmes project based on public-domain materials before ultimately acquiring the book’s film rights himself. Larson’s book interweaves Holmes’ story with that of Daniel Burnham, the architect behind the World’s Fair, but it’s probably safe to assume the film version will lend more weight to the lurid serial-killer story.

We’ve seen DiCaprio play a thief (Inception) and a con artist (Catch Me If You Can), but this is his first out-and-out murderer. It certainly seems like an intriguing idea — and I personally love the idea of a serial-killer tale set in that historical period (especially since we never got to see the long-discussed, now-presumably-dead big-screen adaptation of The Alienist.) But what do you think? Do you like the idea of DiCaprio playing a serial killer? Could this be his Silence of the Lambs? While we’re at it, who would you like to see direct the movie?

Charlie Sheen Divorcing Brooke Mueller, Source Says

Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller each filed separate divorce petitions on Monday.

Sheen, 45, seeks joint physical and legal custody of their 1 1/2-year-old twin boys, while Mueller wants primary physical custody with visitation for Sheen, according to the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Both cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and agree they separated on Christmas Day when they had a nasty fight in Aspen that landed Sheen in jail.

Sheen and Mueller have both since entered rehab in separate programs. Sheen was also placed on probation and sentenced to domestic violence counseling.

Sheen recently was hospitalized for a day in New York after he was found reportedly naked and disoriented in a hotel room. Police sources say he was drunk; his rep says he had an allergic reaction to medication.

At the time, Mueller spoke out in his defense, saying, "You know how things get blown out of proportion."

iPhone 5 to support portable computing using NFC

A new report from Cult of Mac suggests that Apple may have some nifty new features in store for the upcoming iPhone 5. Rumors that the iPhone 5 will utilize NFC are nothing new at this point, but this morning’s claims cover a very unique feature for the underutilized technology. The report suggests that the iPhone 5 will include a new portable computing function, allowing users to store data and settings from Mac computers on their iPhones. When a handset is waved near any other compatible NFC-equipped Mac computer, the user’s “applications, settings and data” will become available on the computer. “It will be as though they are sitting at their own machine at home or work,” the report states. In short, the feature would provide a new type of remote computing that could eliminate the need for virtual network computing (VNC) or similar technologies. This new feature is anything but confirmed for the time being, but it certainly would be a welcome addition for Mac users. What’s more, it might help give customers with aging Mac computers an extra push to upgrade to newer NFC-enabled machines.

BlackBerry Storm 3 Specifications Rumored to Break Cover, Includes 8MP Camera

The BlackBerry Storm 3 hasn’t been officially announced by anyone in the know quite yet, and there’s a few grumblings out there that it won’t ever be, but that’s not stopping folks out there from releasing information about the device. This time around, we’ve got a pretty good list about what’s involved in the specifications department, from the camera all the way down to the memory inside. And, while a few of the details line up with what we’ve heard in the past, there’s a few curious points in there, too.

First of which, there seems to be some confusion regarding the camera. Initial reports had it at a 5MP variety, but this new rumor suggests that not only is Research In Motion (RIM) upgrading the camera to 8MP, but it will also be fixed focus, and feature dual-LED flash. As for the memory, the 8GB lines up with what we’ve heard before, but now it looks like RIM could introduce a 16GB version as well. There’s 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a 1GHz processor under the hood.

The optical trackpad is still present, and the display is supposedly a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with an AMOLED display, with 16M colors. You’ll find integrated WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity. The battery life is supposed to grant users 9 hours of talk time, and up to 432 hours of stand-by time. It’s still possible that the BlackBerry Storm 3 will feature the same Operating System as the PlayBook, or it could just ship with OS 6, as other BlackBerry devices have recently. No word on when, or even if, the device will make it to market. But, if it does, it sounds like RIM has a real contender in the smartphone market again.

2AM outranks SNSD on music charts

‘Ballad idols’ 2AM have been dominating a handful of charts with their newly released album, “Saint O’Clock“, catching many K-pop fans by surprise as SNSD’s 3rd mini-album “Hoot” was expected to reign supreme.

As of November 1st, 2AM’s “You Wouldn’t Answer my Calls” ranked 1st on many major music sites including Melon, Cyworld, and Mnet. Their other A-side, ”Like Crazy“, also ranked highly, attesting to the strength of 2AM’s appeal and vocal prowess.

Fans have been closely observing the neck-to-neck race between SNSD and 2AM. SNSD made a comeback last weekend with an engaging dance, and bested 2AM in the daily charts. However, 2AM took back their throne by Sunday afternoon.

At the showcase for their first album, leader Jo Kwon stated, “2AM’s positives are not visuals nor performances, but our individual personality and unique voices.”

An interesting competition, to say the least – although the two groups don’t necessarily fall into the same branches of pop music.

ELLE girl interviews Ariel Lin: A sexy transformation

The lovely Ariel Lin is featured in the current Fall/Winter edition of ELLE Girl (Taiwan.) Here is a translation of her interview:

It was a photo shoot scheduled for 11 in the morning. The editing staffs were already on standby and in a hurry to get every detail ready. That’s because ELLE Girl Fall/Winter edition’s cover model Ariel Lin is famous for being punctual. She appeared right on-time at 11 am, not a minute before or after. While her manager is parking their car, she walked into the studio by herself and politely greeted everyone. Ariel Lin put her hair up in a bun, wore a pair of light-shade oversized sunglasses, along with a long knit top and a floral dress. Her cream-color outfit matches the impression given off by her album “A Wonderful Journey”; a laid back gentleness.

She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

The rep didn't specify the nature of Lovato's problems.

But a source close to Lovato's family tells PEOPLE, "She was bullied in school. She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. … Demi is taking control by getting help."

'The Walking Dead' premiere attracts 5.3 million viewers

The Walking Dead certainly livened things up Halloween night: The zombie-centric series gave AMC its highest premiere ratings in history Sunday, pulling in 5.3 million viewers. Walking Dead attracted 3.6 million adults 18-49, 3.1 million adults 25-54, and 2.1 million adults 18-34. And the premiere didn’t just break records for AMC — it boasted the highest debut for any 2010 cable series among the 18-49 demographic. “It’s a good day to be dead. We are so proud of this series, its depth of storytelling and the remarkable talent attached,” Charlie Collier, AMC’s president, said in a press release. “As the network dedicated to bringing viewers the best stories on television, we are so pleased to have the opportunity with ‘The Walking Dead’ to raise the bar within this popular genre and continue our commitment to being the home of premium television on basic cable.”

Google sues U.S. government over hosted e-mail bid against Microsoft

Google is suing the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) over a bid for a new hosted e-mail system which Google claims unfairly benefits Microsoft.

The suit, filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on October 29, calls out the DOI for not considering Google Apps in its Request for Quotation (RFQ). The DOI RFQ specified that the DOI was looking for a new, unified e-mail, calendaring and collaboration solution, but limited the acceptable options to Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) Federal suite only. The contract is worth $49.3 million over five years.

Google is making the argument that this is “unduly restrictive of competition,” noted TechDirt, which has a copy of the 37-page complaint embedded on its Web site.

According to the complaint, the DOJ specified that it needed a private-cloud solution for security reasons. BPOS Federal is a dedicated, locked-down version of BPOS that is basically like a privately hosted version of Microsoft’s Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Communications Online and Live Meeting. Google Apps for Government is a multi-tenant hosted solution.

The DOI justified its restriction of acceptable products to Microsoft because of Microsoft’s unified/consolidated e-mail and enhanced security features. (It sounds like the DOI also was seeking FISMA certification for the solution, which is something Microsoft is promising for BPOS but isn’t likely to deliver until some time in 2011 with its Office 365 BPOS successor.)

Emma Watson Shocked That She's Worth $32 Million

She may play Harry Potter's bookish sidekick Hermione Granger, but there are some books that caught Emma Watson by surprise – her financial ledgers.

Throughout her early career, Watson, 20, had been given a small weekly allowance of about $75, having no idea of the fortune she was amassing from the hit movie series until she had a "money conversation" with her father, Chris Watson, when she was around 17, the actress – and Brown University student in Rhode Island – tells December's edition of British Vogue.

Watson is now said to be worth $32 million, give or take a few pounds sterling.

"By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get serious," she told Vogue, according to published reports in the U.K. "I had no idea. I felt sick, very emotional."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I opens Nov. 19.

Samsung Galaxy Tab review

The story of the Galaxy Tab has been quite a saga, to say the least. In fact, it was actually back in May that we first heard rumblings of Samsung's plans to unleash a 7-inch Android tablet much like its Galaxy S phones, but it was only after months of painful teasing -- including a cruel look at just its packaging on the Engadget Show -- that Sammy finally unveiled the Galaxy Tab to the world at IFA. The Tab certainly packed the specs -- a 1GHz processor, full Flash support thanks to Android 2.2, dual cameras, support for up to 32GB of storage and WiFi / 3G connectivity -- to put other Android tablets to shame, and our initial hands-on with it only had us yearning for more. Without pricing and availability, however, the story was at a cliffhanger. Of course, those details trickled out over the next few months, and here in the US, Samsung finally announced that all four major US carriers would be getting Tabs to call their own. Verizon then finally took the lead in announcing pricing, and revealed that its Tab would hit contract-free for $600 -- Sprint followed with the same no-contract pricing along with a $400 two-year contract option.

Indeed, it's been quite a long journey, but even after all of that, some of the major questions are still left unanswered. Does the Tab provide a more complete and polished experience than all the other Android tablets out there? How are Samsung's specially tailored apps? And ultimately, has a tablet finally hit the market that can rival Apple's iPad? We think it's about time we answer those questions and finally open what might be the most important chapter of the Galaxy Tab story -- the official review. We knew you'd agree, so join us after the break.

Lily Allen Loses Her Baby

Lily Allen has again suffered the heartbreak of losing a baby during pregnancy.

"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby," the British singer's rep tells PEOPLE in a statement. "The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."

Allen, 25, announced a few weeks ago that the baby, a boy, was due in January. This is her second such heartbreak – coming almost three years after she suffered a miscarriage during her relationship with musician Ed Simons.

Allen and Cooper, an upmarket decorator, had announced their pregnancy in August. Allen had also Tweeted a pic of herself excitedly holding up a newspaper with the good news.

Allen has spoken of having children as "ultimately my main goal" in life.

NPD, Canalys: Apple passes RIM in U.S. smartphone market

New numbers released Monday by research firm NPD Group suggest that Android has further extended its lead in the U.S. with 44% of the smartphone market. The bigger news, however, is that RIM has seemingly slipped behind Apple, which is now the number 2 smartphone vendor in the United States. Last week, IDC stated that Apple passed RIM to become the fourth largest cell phone maker in the world. Now, according to the new NPD report, Apple gained a single percentage point to attain a 23% share of the U.S. smartphone market while RIM slid to 22%, making it the number 3 smartphone vendor in the U.S. NPD’s numbers vary slightly from another report issued Monday morning by Canalys, the end result is the same. Canalys reaffirms Android’s 44% market share while stating that Apple rose to 26% and RIM fell to 24%.

Despite Android’s lead as a platform, the iPhone is the most popular smartphone model in the U.S. without question. Apple currently sells only two smartphones and both are iPhone models — the $199-$299 iPhone 4 and last year’s iPhone model, the iPhone 3GS, which is now $99. The California-based company is expected to introduce a third iPhone early next year that will operate on Verizon Wireless’ CDMA network.

SNSD has eyes on the Asian music market

The SNSD girls who are currently in the midst of promoting their latest single, “Hoot” in Korea, attended a “Girls’ Generation Seoul Foreign Correspondents Club Press Conference” together with SM Entertainment’s CEO, Kim Young Min, to discuss about the group’s future plans.

In the absence of member, Sooyoung, due to injury, the group and Kim expressed their hope of unifying the Asian music market. Kim expressed to foreign journalists,

“With SNSD, we’ll be able to create the biggest market in the world, which is the Asian market. Rather than making a foray into the American or the European music market, the nine-member group presently aims to “unify the Asian market” and build it into the biggest market in the world.”

The group also wants to reach further out to their foreign fans all over Asia, and becoming fluent in foreign languages is essential to that goal, the girls said.

AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz Split

AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz are officially over, and one of them certainly wasted no time moving on!

The 90210 babe was in Vegas celebrating Halloween, and she debuted a new man on her arm, model Aaron O'Connell.

So what went wrong with the half Twilight duo?

"I don't know who broke up with who, but Kellan was really controlling with her," says a source close to AnnaLynne. "She's definitely over it and with Aaron now."

The mole says McCord is "totally over" Lutz and completely "smitten" with her new boy-toy.

The two were spotted holding hands and cuddling at LAVO in the Palazzo hotel Saturday night at the Veuve Clicquot's Yelloween party.

Our insider dishes that McCord, dressed as the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland, and O'Connell, sporting a pilot's outfit, have been friends for a while and only recently became romantic.

An eyewitness to the cuddlefest ‘fesses AnnaLynne and Aaron danced the night away with McCord's sister Angel and other friends. At one point, McCord playfully swiped O'Connell's pilot hat and posed for pictures in it.

Nexus Two rumors “simply not true” claim Samsung

After rumors last week pegging Samsung as Google’s hardware partner for the Google Nexus Two, the Korean company has denied any such involvement. The speculation that the two firms had been collaborating on a Galaxy S style successor to the Nexus One, Samsung told Danawa, “is simply not true.”

According to the rumors, the Nexus Two would have used Samsung’s Super AMOLED display in a tapered, wedge-shaped chassis that was – according to a purported in-the-wild sighting – more plastic in its construction than the sturdy Nexus One. Google CEO Eric Schmidt has previously said that the company has no intention of building a new Nexus device, but speculation late in October suggested that the second-gen handset would focus more on pushing software and video conferencing abilities in the Android ecosystem.

Browser momentum: Chrome has it, IE doesn't

For browser watchers, October was a continuation of previous trends: Internet Explorer lost share to Chrome, Firefox and Opera idled, and Safari edged upward.

The statistics, based on Net Applications' monitoring of millions of Web sites in its analytics network, show that this summer's resurgence of IE has faded, at least for the present. At the same time, Chrome, now two years old, made its July dip look like a blip rather than a foreboding omen.

IE remains the top dog, with usage that dropped from 59.7 percent in September to 59.3 percent in October. Firefox edged down from 23 percent to 22.9 percent over the same period; Chrome grew from 8 percent to 8.5 percent; Safari stayed level at 5.3 percent; and Opera dropped from 2.4 percent to 2.3 percent.

IE8's usage changed little from September to October, but Web developers will doubtless be gleeful that the much-loathed IE6 gave up a half a percentage point of share, sliding to 15 percent of worldwide usage. Microsoft is feverishly working on IE9, currently available in beta and platform preview editions, and its usage reached 0.3 percent in September.

Chrome is the fastest-changing browser since by default updates are downloaded and installed automatically when the browser or computer is restarted. Net Applications released an illustrative graph showing just how fleeting the life of a Chrome version is: six weeks in the case of Chrome 6.

Google is working on releasing new Chrome versions more frequently, which means the number of changes in new versions diminishes. It also means the significance of the version number, which Google doesn't emphasize and calls a mere "milestone," is even lower.

Half of IT pros plan to use XP after support ends

Many IT professionals intend to carry on using Windows XP even after extended support for the venerable operating system ends in 2014, according to a survey.

The survey, carried out by Dimension Consulting on behalf of Dell's Kace systems management appliance business and published in October, quoted 48 percent of respondents as saying they would continue to use XP without support, while 47 percent said they would upgrade when support for XP is discontinued — after 8 April 2014, no further security updates will be issued for the OS.

Five percent of respondents said they would continue to use XP with third-party support. The survey also suggested that almost all IT professionals intended to skip Vista and go straight to Windows 7.

However, on the subject of productivity suites, only a third said they would skip Office 2007 on the upgrade path from Office 2003 to Office 2010. 78 percent said they had concerns about Office 2010, particularly its ribbon interface. The survey mostly covered the deployment of productivity suites, and was based on the views of 953 respondents to a web survey.

Jaejoong says girls prefer Yoochun and Junsu

JYJ, who is currently on tour for their worldwide showcase, finished their Taiwan showcase in Taipei on October 30th.

After the showcase, JYJ had an interview with the Taiwan media, where they shared their ideal girl types.

When asked what their ideal girl types were, Jaejoong revealed, “A girl with pretty hands makes my heart restless.” Junsu revealed that he liked girls who were bright and active, and Yoochun revealed that his ideal type was the nice housewife type. However, Yoochun also added, “I like sexy girls too.”

Jaejoong then shared that he thought that the other members were more popular than him. He stated, “There were frequent scandals, all of them not only being false, but honestly the girls around me seem to like Yoochun and Junsu more.” Jaejoong also added that his most recent scandal is false.

The boys also shared that “Jaejoong has a sharp tongue” and “Junsu is stingy and doesn’t pay the bill for alcohol.”

JYJ finished their events in Taiwan on October 31st, and passed Shanghai to head to the United States for their four concerts. These four concerts in the United States will mark the end of their worldwide showcase, but JYJ is planning to return to their Korean fans on November 27th and 28th for a ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul.’

S.H.E's Selina spends painful 29th birthday in hospital

Taiwan pop trio S.H.E's Selina Jen, who was badly burnt in a recent filming accident, spent her 29th birthday in hospital with a fever and wracked with pain on Saturday, reported Taiwan media.

While doctors said that her fever was not too severe, and the pain was something every burn victim must face on their road to recovery, they advised her against meeting any visitors that day.

Group mates Ella Chen and Hebe Tien, who had just returned from Singapore after attending the Singapore Hit Awards 2010, originally planned to celebrate Jen's birthday with her but it fell through due to her condition.

However, Jen's parents have since revealed that their daughter's condition had improved and praised doctors for taking good care of her.

Although Jen was stuck in hospital on her birthday, on Sunday, she received a deluge of birthday messages collected by her label HiM International Music from her fans, friends and loved ones.

Celebrities that sent their regards included Mayday vocalist Ah Shin, singer Christine Fan, Taiwan supermodel Lin Chiling and even fellow burn victim Ham Yu, who sent her a message via an assistant.

Meanwhile, Jen's fans left birthday cards for their idol and folded paper cranes to represent their hopes that she will recover soon.
