All these wonderful things we're learning today, from data! First, we find out that Android is a guy thing. Now, we discover that the iPod Touch shares more demographics with glittering vampires than smartphones. iPod Touch: Kid stuff.
The age distribution makes a lot of sense, especially with the direct available comparison of the iPhone: the iPod Touch is a good gift, a plausible purchase, and a good investment for a young person right now. An iPhone with a $70-a-month minimum contract is a tougher sell, either to parents, or to kids mostly supported by their parents.

Call us optimistic, but we pictured February 25th rolling around with us laying on a couch and watching some Olympic ice dancing clips on the JooJoo's 12-inch screen. Ah, but here we are about to cross off the last few days of the month and the only thing we've got in our hands are some tissues and hot cocoa. Promising to ship units to those who pre-ordered in December within 8-10 weeks, Fusion Garage CEO Chandra Rathakrishnan told us just a month ago that it was on track to ship before the end of February. However, when we called them up to see what the deal was we were told they'd have a shipping update for us by the first week in March. Additionally, when asked if there were delays with production or shipping the first units to customers we got the never fun "no comment." We're going to go ahead and assume there's been some sort of delay -- perhaps JooJoo primary investor CSL has been too busy updating the BlueBerrry KIRF line with an optical pad to write out the check for the manufacturing costs. Okay, that's unlikely, but we'd love to hear if any of those that pre-ordered have heard differently or anything at all.

HTC Supersonic

It's impossible to say with certainty what we're looking at here, but by all appearances, this is likely the first time most of you (and all of us) have seen HTC's so-called Supersonic on video. As a refresher, this is the phone rumored to be rocking Android, WiMAX, and pretty much every other spec line item you could possibly want for a date with destiny on Sprint later this year -- and while you can't make out much from the 40-second video, you can clearly make out the red earpiece grill we've seen in past pictures, suggesting that this isn't the similarly-equipped Incredible we've heard of for Verizon. Anyhow, care to get dinner and a movie sometime this Summer, Supersonic? Follow the break for the full video.
Update: ...and that was quick! Video's been pulled, but if it's any consolation, there's not much more to it than the screen grab above. We'll leave the video after the break just in case it comes back online.

Amidst all of the JYPE-related gloom & doom that has been emerging as of late, our friends at WG Spectacle Forums recently held an international project to send the Wonder Girls‘ member Sunmi a message before her upcoming departure to Korea. Wonderfuls from all over the world banded together to complete a positive, united message to the beloved 4D with balloons, photos, notes and a video collage that captured the entire experience.
After Sunmi’s last performance at POP-CON last week, Wonderfuls at WG Spec gathered over five hundred messages and tied them to 150 purple hearts, then placed them in front JYPE’s New York City office to show their support.

If anyone was in any doubt about Reese Witherspoon's relationship status, then these pictures should give you a pretty good clue.
The actress, who split from Jake Gyllenhaal two months ago, was spotted on her second date with Hollywood agent Jim Toth last night.
But when the pair were rumbled by photographers, a blushing Reese put on the kind of display you might expect from a love struck teenager caught out.
The Sweet Home Alabama star came over all giggly when she was pictured in the passenger seat of Toth's car, making a futile attempt to hide her identity by covering her face with her hands.

Simon Cowell has already said a girl is going to win American Idol this year.
And apparently only a few of the guys are interested in trying to prove him wrong.
The top 12 boys-to-men sang live Wednesday, falling squarely into two categories: those with a shot, and those whose only consolation is that, according to Ellen DeGeneres, they're adorable.
Simon, however, was ruthless tonight, starting with performance No. 1, and so uninspired by performance No. 10 that he briefly took over Ryan Seacrest's duties and talked about his girlfriend.

Tang Wei

Chinese actress Tang Wei is set to hit the big screen across China once more after her latest work, romance film "Crossing Hennessy" was cleared by Chinese censors.
Marketing official Veii Chan of Hong Kong production firm Edko Films Ltd revealed that the film will be released in China, though an exact release date has not been set. It is also unclear if the film will only see a limited release.
"Crossing Hennessey" is Tang's first acting project since she reportedly suffered a media ban for her politically sensitive, sexually-charged role in Lee Ang's 2007 spy thriller "Lust, Caution".
In "Lust, Caution", Tang played a Chinese activist who seduces a pro-Japanese spy chief in World-War II-era Shanghai to facilitate his assassination. Her character develops feelings for him and allows him to escape at the last moment.
The film, based on an Eileen Chang novel, was criticised for being sympathetic to the traitorous spy chief and for its graphic sex scenes.
