If anyone was in any doubt about Reese Witherspoon's relationship status, then these pictures should give you a pretty good clue.
The actress, who split from Jake Gyllenhaal two months ago, was spotted on her second date with Hollywood agent Jim Toth last night.
But when the pair were rumbled by photographers, a blushing Reese put on the kind of display you might expect from a love struck teenager caught out.
The Sweet Home Alabama star came over all giggly when she was pictured in the passenger seat of Toth's car, making a futile attempt to hide her identity by covering her face with her hands.
Jim - who she shared a kiss with following a romantic meal out in Los Angeles two weeks ago - also seemed amused and was grinning from ear to ear.
Oscar winner Reese, 33, was said to have enjoyed flirting with Jim over their recent Italian dinner before sharing a warm clinch together in the car park afterwards.
A fellow diner at Locanda Portofino in Santa Monica said the actress and her handsome companion were 'very flirtatious' and 'very friendly' during their meal.
Witherspoon met Toth - who works for the Creative Artists Agency - in the restaurant and spent two hours huddled with him in a corner.
An onlooker told People magazine: 'They were very flirtatious throughout dinner.
'They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner.
'Reese seemed very happy. The mood was upbeat and really good.'
After the meal, Toth paid the bill and the two parted with a warm kiss in the car park.
The onlooker added: 'Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug. They kissed bye on the cheek - but it was a very friendly goodbye.'
A friend of Toth's told the magazine the dinner had been 'a date', but added it was 'nothing serious'.
Witherspoon split with Brokeback Mountain star Gyllenhaal in December after three years together.
The couple met on the set of Rendition in late 2006 - a few months after she split from ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, father of her two children Ava, 10, and Deacon, six.
Sources close to the couple said the relationship had just run its course.
A friend told U.S. TV network E!: 'They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts. When they were finally together, they talked it out and decided they're not going to be together any more.
'There are no other people involved. The relationship just ended. It just fizzled. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese's kids.'
