Is Pixie Lott Dating Joe Jonas?

Joe Jonas cannot catch a football.

But it sounds like he may have caught something far more important in life: true love.

According to Great Britain's trashy newspaper The Sun, the sex-starved singer has been getting cozy with English star Pixie Lott.

Jonas and Lott were reportedly introduced through Gregg Sulkin, a British actor that appears on Wizard Of Waverly Place.

Lady Gaga: Topless, Bulging in Q Magazine

The fabulous Lady Gaga appears topless on the cover and inside the pages of Q magazine this month. She also appears to be packing some serious bulge.

We're just saying.

Whatever that foot-long surprise might be, it's either meant as a joke based on the hermaphrodite rumors that continue to follow her, or as an effort to fuel them.

Man parts or not, she's looking pretty amazing. It's nice to see the singer without her trademark face mask or hair phone ... or any sort of shirt, let's be honest!

Microsoft’s three Windows Phone 7 chassis designs tipped

Details of Microsoft’s hardware plans for Windows Phone 7 have leaked, courtesy of a Frankly Speaking podcast featuring Microsoft Australia Developer Evangelists Michael Kordahi and Andrew Coates. According to the pair, Microsoft have narrowed down WP7 hardware to three chassis: Chassis 1, which is expected to incorporate all the devices set to launch later this year, will be the “big touchscreen” models with 1GHz processors and discrete GPUs.

As for Chassis 2, such handsets were compared to Palm Treo devices since they incorporate both hardware keyboards and touchscreens. It’s an odd comparison, though, as in a MWC 2010 prebrief with Microsoft they pointed out that their screen aspect/size rules might preclude certain candybar layouts.

Apple will sell iPad at Best Buy

Consumers will be able to buy the iPad at a variety of locations besides Apple's retail store, Apple's chief operating officer said Tuesday.

The comments came during Tim Cook's speech at the Goldman Sachs annual tech conference in San Francisco. In addition to the obvious Apple retail stores, consumers will be able to purchase the iPad from Apple directly and from "partners like Best Buy," according to AppleInsider.

Cook didn't mention whether AT&T would be selling the device in its retail locations, even though it did sell the iPhone models. One reason for the AT&T omission could be that the first iPads will only have Wi-Fi. The 3G, Wi-Fi combo models will come 30 days after the initial release.

YouTube sets March 13 IE6 kill date

Users can watch videos with older browsers, but new features likely won't work

Google's YouTube will drop support for Microsoft's nearly-nine-year-old Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) in just over two weeks, the popular video site has announced.

"Support stops on March 13," said YouTube in an updated Q&A on a page dedicated to older browser support, which was first noticed by Ars Technica. "Stopped support essentially means that some future features on YouTube will be rolled out that won't work in older browsers."

IE6 isn't the only aged browser that YouTube has put on its hit list: It will also stop supporting 2005's Safari 2.x, 2006's Firefox 2.x and 2009's Chrome 3.x. IE6, however, is the oldest by far: Microsoft released the browser in mid-2001, several months before shipping Windows XP.

YouTube started warning users of those older browsers in mid-2009 that it would eventually cease supporting them as it rolled out new features and functionality. This is the first time that the site has slapped a date on the stoppage, however.

Google stepped up its part in an industry-wide "kill IE6" campaign late last month when it announced it would ditch IE6 from the list of supported browsers for its Google Docs online applications and its Google Sites hosting services starting next Monday, March 1.

The search giant also said it would discontinue IE6 support for Gmail later this year.

SNSD’s album is on its way to sell over 200,000 copies

The popular girl group SNSD has sold over 100,000 copies of their last three albums, impressing many music listeners. With their latest album, they surpassed 100,000 mark by far!

The song Oh! has been winning the #1 spot on music charts and programs. The album itself has sold over 150,000 copies already and they are expecting it to pass the 200,000 mark soon.

It’s rare for an artist to surpass the 100,000 mark, let alone the 200,000 mark. We can definitely say that SNSD has reached the top in terms of popularity and sales.

An associate said, “SNSD’s sales are Korea’s best. They are a national representative so I think they will break more records.”

Rainie Yang remains thoroughly truthful, breaks the news about Xiao Zhu who begs to receive her praise

Rainie Yang who has been promoting her latest album "Rain Love" appeared on set of HuNan TV's "Steadily aloud". Not only did she bring along tracks from her latest album, but also broke certain news when she talked about her love life. She mentioned that she recently had someone in mind, but the guy did not accept her in the end. When the host asked what she felt towards her rumored boyfriend Xiao Zhu Luo Zhi Xiang, Rainie laughed and said: He's a hundred percent narcissistic person.

Rainie broke on the news on the spot: 'I can still remember that when I was filming with Xiao Zhu, after his filming ended, he would ask me what I felt about the camera angle just now. I said it's still alright. He would hurriedly ask me again: No no, think about it again, how was the camera angle just now? I said: I really think it's alright. Nonetheless, he'd proceed to ask me the same question again and again, and in the end he would sincerely beg you (referring to Rainie) and say: please, I beg you, tell me that I looked really handsome from that camera angle just now.'

More People Interested In Buying iPad Than Original iPhone

That's what this RBC/ChangeWave's surveys says. Back in April 2007, fewer people were interested in buying the original iPhone compared to those wanting to buy the iPad on February 2010. Does this mean the iPad would be a bigger success?

Not necessarily. It may mean that, but we don't really know for sure. First, back then the iPhone was completely unknown. A new, unproven product, with no user base whatsoever. Today, the iPhone and iPod are well known, so one could even argue that—given their massive popularity—a higher percentage of people would be interested in buying the iPad. In other words, who knows. Let's wait until Apple actually makes the iPad available on their site.

Europe Launches Antitrust Probe of Google

Google is being investigated for possible anticompetitive behavior in Europe following complaints filed against it there by three competitors, Google revealed in a blog post Tuesday.

The investigation, which has been described as preliminary, follows complaints filed with the European Commission by a U.K. price comparison site called Foundem, a French legal search engine called ejustice.fr, and a German search site called Ciao that was recently acquired by Microsoft, Google said.

"While we will be providing feedback and additional information on these complaints, we are confident that our business operates in the interests of users and partners, as well as in line with European competition law," Google said.

The Commission, which is the EU's highest antitrust authority, often conducts a preliminary investigation when it receives complaints about potentially anticompetitive behavior. It typically studies the market in question, interviews companies involved and then decides whether to launch a full investigation. Google appears to be the target of such a preliminary probe.

Charlie Sheen Checks Himself Into Rehab

Charlie Sheen has entered a treatment facility, PEOPLE reports, following speculation he was drinking again.

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series 'Two and a Half Men,'" Sheen's representative said in a statement.

Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, is also in rehab for crack and alcohol addiction. She recently switched centers due to privacy issues.

The actor has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault after he allegedly attacked Mueller on Christmas Day. He was reported to be drunk at the time.

Bruce Willis talks 'Die Hard 5': Where would you want him to yippee-ki-yay next?

So far, New York cop John McClane has battled terrorists in an office tower, on an airplane, on the streets of the Big Apple, and on the Internet. But there may still be some more “yippee-ki-yay” left in the tank for Bruce Willis. While promoting his new man-in-blue buddy comedy Cop Out, Willis told MTV.com, “I think we’re going to do a Die Hard 5 next year.” This is, of course, huge news for anyone who still gets goosebumps when they hear the name Hans Gruber (guilty as charged). Willis didn’t offer much in the way of details except to say that he would hire Die Hard 4 director Len Wiseman for the gig. And when asked where he could see the story going, his response was, “Well, it’s got to go worldwide…that would be my contribution.”

Worldwide, huh?

That seems a little vague. Does he mean a globe-trotting adventure like the Bourne series or the 007 flicks? Or does he intend to have his blue-collar alter-ego trot out a set of language skills in Farsi, Swahili, and Mandarin? Maybe he’s just talking about cleaning up at the foreign box office. Tough to say. Either way, it’s not too early to start thinking about — and opening up the floor to — suggestions about how the next Die Hard should play out. One thing’s for sure, fresh premises seem to be running out. After all, we’ve already seen Die Hard on Bus (Speed), Die Hard on a Cruise Ship (Speed 2), Die Hard on an Aircraft Carrier (Under Siege), Die Hard on a Train (Under Siege 2), not to mention Die Hard in a Phone Booth (Phone Booth), Die Hard at a Boxing Match (Snake Eyes), and Die Hard with Bongs (Pineapple Express).

Sarah Jessica Parker’s New SATC Scent: “A Snapshot of Carrie Bradshaw”

In true Sex and the City style, Sarah Jessica Parker clicked her ruffle-trimmed Brian Atwood shoes into New York’s Sweetie Pie restaurant last week for an intimate presentation for her newest scent, SJP NYC. “What I really wanted to do was capture an image, a snapshot in my head of Carrie Bradshaw, that sort of freeze-frame of her walking down any New York City street at an idyllic time of year in a floral-print dress on her way to meet somebody or to do something, or surrounded by her women friends,” Sarah Jessica said of the starting point for the fragrance. “You can go anywhere with that, because we live in a fragrant city,” she explained.

What she did create, mixes notes of wild strawberry with gardenia and vanilla, housed in a multi-print bottle inspired by the custom-designed Oscar de la Renta dress she wears in the ad campaign. “What we arrived at was very surprising to me because it’s not notes that I generally cotton to — but I love it.” And while Sarah Jessica might have the fragrance game down, when it comes to beauty, “I am, I confess, very bad at makeup,” she says. “I don’t wear any in my real life, my personal life. There’s no time for it and I’m not good at it.” Parker went on to credit her long-time makeup artist for her glam appearances. “I work with Leslie Lopez as much as she’ll be around me,” she laughs, calling out the pro to take a bow. “I don’t want to have to do it to myself — I wouldn’t know where to begin!” SJP NYC is in Macy’s stores now, starting at $35 for a 1-oz. spray.

'Hands-Off' Reviews of Microsoft's Project Natal Emerge

'Hands-on' with Microsoft's upcoming Xbox 360 motion detection gizmo? Impossible, since your hands touch nothing, nor your arms, elbows, legs, knees, or feet. Still, Project Natal, as the mechanism is called, can reportedly do a full-body scan instantaneously as you approach its tube-like webcam, mapping your "arms and elbows, hips, legs and feet" and "replicating your entire body in an on-screen avatar," according to Irish tech site Silicon Republic.

How do they know? Because Microsoft demonstrated Natal to a handful of people in London last night, offering a chance to try out the dodgeball game demonstrated at last year's E3. Sadly that's all they demonstrated, but it gave skeptical gamers a chance to gauge the accuracy of the technology two quarters in advance of its planned 2010 holiday release.

Xerox sues Google, YouTube and Yahoo over search patents

Xerox has filed a lawsuit against Yahoo, Google and YouTube alleging infringement of Xerox patents on search and integration technology.

The document management and services company alleges that Google's AdWords and AdSense services violate a Xerox patent on automatically generating searches. The suit, filed Friday in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, also alleges that Yahoo Search Marketing, Yahoo Publisher Network and Y!Q Contextual Search infringe the patent.

Xerox also alleges that the Google Maps, Google Video and Yahoo Shopping services all infringe another Xerox patent on ways to integrate information from different sources. Online video site YouTube.com infringes the same patent, Xerox alleges.

HTC Desire coming to AT&T, HTC Hero2 (Legend) coming to Sprint?

The recently announced HTC Desire and HTC Legend – HTC’s newest Android smartphones – might be released in North America soon.

Apparently, AT&T will carry the HTC Desire as some sort of alternative to the Nexus One (which currently doesn’t have support for AT&T’s 3G frequencies).

According to BGR, AT&T will sell the HTC Desire starting May or June, possibly with minor changes to the casing. No word yet on pricing, but the Desire is a high-end smartphone (Android 2.1, AMOLED WVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU), so it will probably be offered for around $200 on contract.

PCWorld ranks AT&T tops in 3G performance test

We all have something of a need, a need for speed, and while most won't have an opportunity to go all Maverick on some MIG-28s somewhere over the Indian Ocean, we can do our best to get the quickest wireless on offer. Last summer, when we stacked the top four mobile broadband cards against each other, we found that AT&T came out on tops for peak performance, and now nearly a year on PCWorld has come to the same conclusion, finding that Ma Bell offers upload and download speeds that are twice some of the competition. The seven page test splits everything out by city and goes into more details than we'll tire you with here, but do note that all this testing was done in urban areas, so don't forget to double-check the coverage map before you sign the next 24 months of your life away.

Vic Zhou loses out on filming Killer Never Kills and Black & White

Vic Zhou, after gaining massive popularity from the hit drama, “Black & White,” has been receiving invitations non-stop to star in movies. Originally, Vic declined the offer to film the movie version of “Black & White” and decided to film, “The Killer Never Kills”. However, due to the change in Director, problems with the script and other issues, there have been rumors that the project has been put on halt. Vic has waited two months for the project and his manager expresses, “He will be filming the drama Hui Jia / Return Home in March, so there is no way for him to accommodate.” Producer Zeng Bao Yi of “Killer” confirms that the project has been postponed and that they will try their best to arrange their schedules with both sides.

Yesterday, Vic expressed through his manager Zhi Xiang Li, “He already spent one to two months in training, so of course he hopes that he can continue in the project.” Last year, it was also due to scheduling that he turned down the offer to act alongside Mark Chao in the “Black & White” movie. Producer Yu Xiao Hui of “Black & White” expressed, “We will begin filming in June and the cast will have a male and female actor from Mainland China.” She also added that because they have already changed the script around, they have no plans of asking Vic to be in the project again.

Robert Pattinson Admits: I Am Dating Kristen Stewart

After months of speculation, Robert Pattinson has finally confirmed he is dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

The actors, who have been dating since last year, were due to make their first public appearance as a couple at Sunday's Bafta Film Awards, but ended up arriving separately.

Pattinson, 23, was proudly cheering from the audience when his American girlfriend, 19, was named as the winner of the Bafta Rising Star accolade at the star-studded ceremony at the Royal Opera House.

After refusing to comment on their relationship for months, Pattinson finally broke his silence and admitted they were an item.

Ellen is hit with "Idol" fans, Garcia early favorite

Ellen DeGeneres is proving a hit with "American Idol" fans as a new judge, although Paula Abdul is very much missed, according to an AOL Television poll released on Tuesday.

As the public get their first chance this week to vote for performers on the top-rated TV talent contest, guitar-playing Andrew Garcia and young mom Crystal Bowersox are emerging as early fan favorites among the top 24.

Garcia, 24, of California, and Bowersox, 24, who plays guitar and mouth organ, won a leading 26.2 and 25.2 percent of votes in the AOL Television poll over the weekend.

Michael "Big Mike" Lynche, whose wife had their first baby while he was competing, was third favorite. But Lynche was also voted the most overhyped, as fans decided by an overwhelming 78.3 percent that highlighting personal stories such as his gave contestants an unfair advantage.

Some 58 percent of those polled said DeGeneres was doing an "awesome" job in her new role, with just 7.4 percent judging her "awful".

Adam Lambert Disses Susan Boyle: “Her Album Is Horrendous!”

Shots fired!! Adam Lambert has given new meaning to the phrase “Catty Queen” by revealing that he is no fan of fellow talent show sensation Susan Boyle or the debut album that catapulted the Scottish spinster to the top the charts late last year.

Boyle’s debut LP, I Dreamed A Dream, stormed Billboard when it dropped last November. Much to Adam’s chagrin, SuBo managed to keep the American Idol runner-up off the top of the US charts with his release For Your Entertainment, which dropped the same day. Lambert sold an impressive 200,000 copies in his first week, but still couldn’t believe he was one upped by Boyle’s “terrible” album — which features a cover of the Rolling Stones’ classic “Wild Horses” that made Adam “cry with laughter.”

Windows 7 early adoption beats Vista's 2-to-1

Five months after release, Microsoft's newest OS owns twice the share of Vista at the same point

In the five months since its release, Microsoft's Windows 7 has captured twice the usage share than did Vista in the same time period, a Web metrics company said today.

According to NetApplications.com of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Windows 7 accounted for 9% of all operating systems in use online for the month through last Sunday. By comparison, Vista had a 4.5% share five months after its late-January 2007 release to retail.

Microsoft shipped Windows 7 on Oct. 22, 2009.

Windows 7's trajectory has been faster than Vista's ever since the former's release, with the newer operating system beating Vista to the 4% mark by several months. By the end of January 2010, Windows 7's usage share was 7.5%, also double the 3.75% that Vista enjoyed by the end of its fourth month.

Apple, There’s Pornography On My iPhone. The App Is Called Safari. You Made It.

Apple’s hypocrisy with regard to the App Store is something I know well. Several times last year I wrote about Apple allowing apps like “Asian Boobs” and upskirt apps into the App Store while rejecting things such as satirical apps that mocked public figures. It was ridiculous. So you might think I’d be happy that Apple is now rejecting and removing sexy apps from the App Store as well. But actually, the hypocrisy is much worse now.

Problem number one is that while Apple is removing most of these sexy apps from the App Store, it’s not removing all of them. So who gets to stay? Big publishers like Sports Illustrated and Playboy. In fact, not only is Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit 2010 app not being removed, it’s being featured in the App Store. Both it and the Playboy app clearly violate the new rules of the more prudish App Store, yet they get to stay. Why?

As Apple VP of Worldwide Product Marketing Phil Schiller explained earlier to the New York Times, it’s because they’re well-known companies known for that content. Yet, he also cited women being upset about feeling degraded and parents being upset about kids having access to sexy apps as the main reason Apple is cracking down on them. The omission of the fact that parents probably also don’t want their kids downloading the Playboy app, or that some women might also find the Swimsuit app degrading is laughable.

Nokia, Symbian still lead smartphone market, Gartner says

Gartner, an information technology research firm, has found that while Nokia and Symbian were still solid leaders in the smartphone market in 2009, they might have to watch their backs as Apple and RIM have gained some ground.

In a recently published study, Nokia controlled 36.4% of the worldwide market share, but they might not be too comfortable though, the Finnish manufacturer saw a 2.2% loss. Samsung is in a distant second at 19.5%, but they’ve gained 3.2%, while Motorola and Sony Ericsson aren’t looking so good with only 4.8% and 4.5% respectively after dropping considerably since 2008.

TVXQ surpasses Bon Jovi & breaks another record!

Looks like another major record has been broken by one of the most successful boy bands in Asia!

On the 22nd, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has sold approximately 413,000 copies of their Best Selection 2010 album. The album now has the most sales ever for a foreign group in the Japanese music industry. They broke the previous record that was held by American band, Bon Jovi, who had sold 379,000 copies of their album G’s Days. The record hasn’t been broken in over 14 years, making this accomplishment even more significant for the Korean group.

The album count will keep rising, as it wasn’t long since it’s release. Let’s see if they can reach the… 1 million sales mark!

Snow Flower Director: Zhang Ziyi's Exit due to Neck Injury

As "Snow Flower and The Secret Fan" is filming in Shanghai without Zhang Ziyi, who delared to quit the project in January, the movie's director Wayne Wang responded to the star's exit at a press conference in Shanghai on Monday, claiming Zhang's pullout was due to her neck injury during the shooting of Wong Kar-Wai's martial arts film 'The Grand Master'.

Though previous media coverage has reported "Snow Flower and The Secret Fan" was the debut project of a joint film adventure by Zhang Ziyi and her friend, media magnate Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng, as Deng had revealed in an interview with Vogue magazine in 2008, spokesperson from Shanghai Film Group denied that Deng is in any way linked to the financing of this film.

"It's totally a domestic-funded project, no foreign investment is involved," said Xiong Xiao'ou, representative of Shanghai Film Group, one of the film's production company.

Is Katherine Heigl Leaving Grey’s Anatomy?

Izzie is back — but her return could be short-lived.

After taking a three-month maternity leave to bond with her 15-month-old daughter Naleigh, whom she adopted in September with husband Josh Kelley, Katherine Heigl is due to return to the set of Grey’s Anatomy on March 1. Two weeks later, the actress, 31, will travel to Las Vegas to accept the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year, a film-industry honor previously won by the likes of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.

Is the award yet another sign that Heigl — who took a five-episode hiatus from Grey’s earlier this season to film the romantic comedy Life As We Know It with Josh Duhamel — is ready to depart Grey’s to focus full-time on her film career?

“It wouldn’t be a shock,” says a source close to the show. By the time Grey’s airs the finale of season 6 in May, Heigl will have been absent from roughly half of its 24-episode run.

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton Rekindle Romance?

NICOLE Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton are back together.

The Pussycat Dolls singer and the Formula One racing driver were spotted holding hands and kissing at the Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles on Sunday.

“They were all over each other while chatting to fans,” a source said. “They were both completely smitten.”

Nicole, 31, also joked with a shop assistant when she was asked if there was anything particular she was looking for, saying: “This year — my wedding dress.”

The pair split in early January after 20 months together, with both blaming their hectic careers for the separation, but they are now definitely back on.

Apple plans to expand iPhone OS to more platforms

Apple is planning to leverage its work in transforming Mac OS X to work on other devices—most specifically the iPhone—to power "new platforms," according to a recent job posting. Those platforms will also be powered by "custom silicon," like Apple's A4 processor that powers the iPad.

As first discovered by Computerworld, Apple is looking for a full-time engineering manager to oversee "platform bring-up," with the Core Platform team, part of Apple's Core OS group. Such a manager would be responsible for low-level architecture, hardware drivers, firmware, and platform security for iPhone OS on "a range of hardware platforms, including iPhone & iPod." The manager will also coordinate the software team with hardware and custom silicon teams in developing and prototyping new platforms.

Candidates for the position are expected to have experience with kernel, driver, and firmware development for Unix-based systems as well as an understanding of system-on-a-chip design. Experience with ARM-based SoC's is preferred, of course—that's the platform currently used in the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, as well as Apple's Time Capsule base station (among others).

Samsung plans to sell 10 million Wave S8500 phones, offer 1,000 Bada apps this year

Unveiled last week at MWC 2010, the Samsung Wave S8500 (Samsung’s first Bada phone) should be available in Europe starting April – and it looks like Samsung hopes to sell about 10 million units of it (while also selling handsets based on other platforms, like Android).

The official price of Samsung Wave was not announced, but it’s said that the phone would cost around €450 ($610).

It’s certainly not that easy to sell 10 million phones at this price, but since Apple sold tens of millions of iPhones, I guess Samsung can do it, too – especially since the Wave should be available in 50 countries by May.

Apple A4 SoC in iPad could have cost $1bn to develop

How much does creating a new chip cost? If your guess was “a whole lot” then you’re right; according to the NYT this week, Apple could have spent $1bn in developing the Apple A4 that powers the iPad, and that’s not even counting the investment in building a factory, which can add another $3bn to the bill.

The Apple A4 is an ARM-based System-on-a-Chip (SoC) running at 1GHz, complete with an integrated GPU. In the iPad it’s capable of outputting up to 576p video, though it’s unclear whether that’s a limitation of the iPad design or – perhaps less likely – the A4 SoC itself. However the NYT suggest that other ARM-based chipset companies, such as Texas Instruments and NVIDIA, are using the success of the iPhone to push their wares to other portable device manufacturers; it seems unlike that Apple will themselves be taking that route, as the A4 – and its successors – are expected to be saved solely for their own product lines.
