Crystal Bowersox Gets Married!

They had a whirlwind courtship and an engagement lasting only weeks, but Crystal Bowersox and Brian Walker were hardly strangers in love.

Longtime friends before things turned romantic in recent months, the American Idol runner-up was married to musician Walker in Chicago on Sunday, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox tells PEOPLE. “I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We're one happy WalkerSox family."

Bowersox, 25, wore an Earth-friendly hemp and cotton gown from Vermont designer Tara Lynn that features macramé, seashell and bead detailing and was created in the designer’s solar-powered studio.

Their rings were designed by Walker and crafted by Chicago’s Traci Coughlin and Steve Quick Jewelers. The ceremony was held at the club where they couple met during Open Mic Night six years ago.

For Apple, HTC it's hip to tout chip

At one time in the not-too-distant past, cell phone chips were an unknown quantity or, at best, given short shrift by cell phone providers and manufacturers. Not anymore.

The Apple iPhone and HTC Evo 4G from Sprint are two of the hottest phones on the market. And both companies advertise the processor prominently. Is this a coincidence? Intel, the largest chipmaker in the world, doesn't think so.

"As late as a year ago, consumers didn't care about the processing power in their smartphones. Today almost every store is advertising the CPU speed that's inside the smartphone," Wilfred Martis, general manager of Intel's Retail Consumer Electronics business, said in an interview. "That's because the experience that users expect on these phones has gone through the roof, and the applications and content that are coming to those devices has gone through the roof."

While it's obvious that Intel has a stake in promoting its silicon in any computing device, so--now--do Apple and HTC. On HTC's Evo 4G specification page and Sprint's Evo 4G page, the 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm gets, if not top billing, conspicuous mention along with the screen and Android operating system. And Apple is even more aggressive in making its A4 processor a marquee feature.

Box Office: Does Katherine Heigl Hurt Katherine Heigl Movies?

Was Katherine Heigl likable enough to defriend dethrone The Social Network? Was Secretariat the next Blind Side? Was Ryan Reynolds able to dig out Buried?

The weekend box-office results:

The Social Network reigned a second weekend with $15.5 million, per estimates. The $40 million Facebook movie is now at $46.1 million overall.

Heigl's and Josh Duhamel's baby-on-board romantic-comedy, Life As We Know It, settled for second, with a $14.6 million debut, bigger than recent efforts from Jennifer Aniston and the American Idol-bound Jennifer Lopez, if slightly smaller than Heigl's own summer entry, Killers.

Exhibitor Relations' Jeff Bock called the take "decent," especially considering its weak reviews, and dismissed the notion that Heigl, who has openly debated whether her mouth has done her more harm than good, is damaged goods.

Leaked T-Mobile HTC HD7 Looks Gigantically Awesome

As a successor to the tragedy that was the HTC HD2, the HTC HD7 actually has a chance to be the awesome. It packs updated hardware in a more gorgeous body while running Windows Phone 7.

The accompanying leaked specs: same 4.3" ginormous 800x480 screen and same 5-megapixel camera but boosted 576MB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. The actual design of the phone is slightly updated but it's not a drastic change from the huge slab of glass we've grown fond of. No mention of whether the HD7 can do HSPA+ and take advantage of T-Mobile's "4G" speeds though.

Everything we'll need to know about Windows Phone 7's launch details will be revealed tomorrow, October 11th.

As the sharp and sarcastic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in TV show Glee, fans cannot get enough of Jane Lynch.

But they got a bit more than they bargained for last night when the 50-year-old actress stripped down for several sketches as she hosted TV show Saturday Night Live.


In one sketch, Lynch played a creepy, distracted therapist who ends up naked in front of her client, played by Andy Samberg.

In the same guise, she dressed as an ice cream vendor, wearing a black bra and bow tie - at one point feeding cast regular Samberg an ice lolly.

Lynch earlier poked fun at the hit musical show in her opening monologue in which she got a chance to show off her vocal skills.

Elton John to work with Matthew Morrison on actor's debut album

Elton John recently revealed to EW exclusively that he’ll be working with Glee star Matthew Morrison—aka Will Schuester—on the actor’s forthcoming debut album. “I’m supposed to be doing something with Matthew Morrison for his album,” John told EW, when he called to talk about The Union, John’s album collaboration with legendary pianist-songwriter Leon Russell, which hits stores Oct. 19. “[Matthew and I] had a little meeting together, so hopefully that’s going to happen when I get to L.A.” John says the collaboration with the Glee star will likely happen sometime this month. John also recently fanned rumors that he may contribute to Lady Gaga’s upcoming album, Born This Way. “There’s a chance I might do one track with her,” he told EW, “but she’s so busy, and I’m so busy, we can never get together!”

Considering his upcoming collaboration with Morrison, though, could an all-Elton episode of Glee—or even an appearance on the show—be that far off? It’s not in the works…yet. “I love Glee, but no, no, no,” the legendary singer said. “Of course, I’d be into that. It’s always great when someone covers your songs, no matter how good or bad the version is. You know, I started out as a songwriter, so I always get a kick out of that.”

Facing reports of marital trouble, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher jetted off to Israel for what the actor describes as a spiritual journey.

"Sharing Love & Light while in Israel," Kutcher Tweeted on Saturday night, hours after the pair left from Los Angeles International Airport. "Asking 4 the energy 2 forge bonds with our similarities & find compromise in our differences."

But is Kutcher referring to something other than marital relations? A source close to the couple says the actor is speaking at a conference in Israel. "They are not in Israel to renew vows," the source says.

Kutcher, 32, took to his Twitter page last month to challenge reports that he cheated, calling a tabloid cover story "fiction." Moore, 47, replied to her husband's statement with, "Excellent point my love!"

Since then, they have put up a united front, making an appearance at the Clinton Global Initiative, spending time in Michigan on the set of Moore's upcoming film The Reasonable Bunch and stepping out last week for a movie date in Los Angeles.

"Social Network" Tops Box Office for Second Week

A real horse race at the box office this weekend as three new wide releases joined the crop of films currently in the marketplace. Last weekend's chart-topper, Sony's "The Social Network" had performed well mid-week with grosses in the $2 million range as heavy interest in the film continued after great reviews and strong word-of-mouth. This solid second weekend performance of $15.5 million represented a mere 31% drop for the possible Oscar contender. Continued interest in the film itself and the many noteworthy performances by the ensemble cast will keep this one in the top ten mix for many weeks to come. The film is now closing in on the $50 million mark after just ten days of release.

As for the newcomers, Warner Bros.' romantic comedy "Life as We Know It" took the number two spot with $14.6 million. Women were the obvious target for "Life" given the Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel pairing and the themes of romance, relationships and child rearing. At number three with $12.6 million, Disney's PG-rated inspirational horse racing saga "Secretariat" boasts a both a solid cast and a faith-based storyline that drew families interested in a wholesome and inspiring story appropriate for all ages.

Angry Birds developer claims Microsoft jumped the gun, Rovio 'not committed' to Windows Phone 7

Software developers make or break a platform, as Microsoft's Steve Ballmer once famously stressed, but that shiny new Windows Phone 7 site has angered a mildly important one of them. Rovio Mobile, developer of the wildly popular Angry Birds game, tweets that it's presently 'not committed' to bring the game to Windows Phone, and that the above icon is being used in Microsoft marketing completely without permission. While it's possible this is just some sort of mix-up and Rovio just wanted to make its own announcement ("nothing to do with if we do or don't, it's just that we decide that ourselves," the company added in a later tweet), it wouldn't be the first time Microsoft's engaged in shady business to inflate its new app store.

SNSD’s Seohyun ranked #1 for best natural beauty

SNSD’s maknae Seohyun was recently picked as the best natural beauty out of girl group members.

According to a poll that was conducted by a cosmetics surgery hospital in Seoul, results showed that out of the 781 netizens who participated, 348 (44.5%) voted for Seohyun as the “girl group member who shows the best natural beauty”.

A representative of the cosmetic surgery hospital explained, “First place taker SNSD’s Seohyun has a friendly face. Her natural beauty results from her confidence and ability to showcase her strong points.”

Other girl group members who ranked in the top three were KARA’s Han Seung Yeon (210 votes, 28%), and 2NE1’s Sandara Park (189 votes, 24.1%).
