Anne Hathaway: I've Already Cast Myself on Glee!

Anne Hathaway is gunning for a guest spot on Glee — and she’s already thought of a character to play!

“In my head I’ve cast myself on Glee,” the 28-year-old Love and Other Drugs star said on Thursday’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

“I would want to play Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) long lost aunt, his mother’s sister, who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with sexuality,” Anne revealed. “And I would sing ‘No One Is Alone’ from Stephen Sondheim’s epic show Into the Woods.”

HTC Knight is a 4G QWERTY slider, runs Android 2.2

We just received some more information on the device known as the HTC Knight. In addition to a3.7-inch display, the HTC Knight will, in fact, sport a sliding QWERTY keyboard and 4G connectivity. The phone will also rock an 8-megapixel camera, and most excitingly, will possibly be powered by a dual core processor. Our source saw an early unit that had a 1GHz CPU, but he believes it’s possible there will be a dual core processor at launch. This seems to be Sprint’s version of the HTC Desire Z, as previously reported — and it’s not looking like a flagship phone at this point in time. If not, we have to wonder what else Sprint is cooking up right now.

"Gun Metal Grey" neglected at TVB Anniversary Gala, Michael Miu & Felix Wong bursts in anger at TVB

The night before yesterday was the TVB 43rd Anniversary Gala, the prologue was a satirical skit of 2010's popular dramas packaged with heavily promoted male and female artists. In the skit, Nat Chan is shuttled through the popular and well applauded series including: Can't Buy Me Love, No Regrets, Every Move You Make, When Lanes Merge, and The Mysteries of Love. However, the TVB anniversary series Gun Metal Grey with just as good ratings and public praises as No Regrets was no where to be seen. Also, the majority of the cast to that series were not invited to attend the TVB Anniversary Gala, while Nancy Wu attended representing another series.

Felix Wong bursts in bad language

Yesterday, Gun's Mad Sir (Michael Miu) and Stone Sir (Felix Wong) both had an uproar on Weibo.

Stone Sir Felix Wong described his angered with a puff of fire: "Someone said: 'well applauded series does not get attention, lacks promotion (have to rely on the cast to do it), and repeatedly suppressed... I Felix Wong really want to ask which company is this?" Then Mad Sir Michael Miu replies: "Not a company...did a person do this?" This resulted in Stone Sir not being able to keep in his anger: "totally very bad, I'll hold it!"

Leo Ku considers to marry during Christmas

Yesterday Leo Ku attended a Christmas activity at the Miramar Shopping Centre. During the time, Leo drew a design representing the theme song he performed for No Regrets on a Christmas girl. As the MC mentioned to Leo that Miriam Yeung is planning to hold her wedding on Christmas, Leo was asked if he'll be like her? Leo appeared like he didn't know how to answer. Leo explained: "Christmas and marriage is not related. Also, I am young, not in a rush for marriage." But, he said that deciding to marry on Christmas is not bad because many people will remember it.

A few days ago, Leo had dinner with Stephen Chan, asked what he and Mr. Chan talked about? He reveals that they do not talk about work, Leo said: "I haven't seen him for a while. (Did his mood changed?) No! I don't think there is much difference from before, wasn't too affected. He is a optimistic person." As for RTHK made their own "Media Award", Leo said that he's currently busy with work and designing his business, and even forgot about when the awards ceremony is. He expressed that he will not get into the whole process and will leave it all for his record company to handle. He has no comment.

Facebook Removing Gmail From List Of Third Party Email Providers

Something is up on the Facebook vs. Google data reciprocity front. It looks like Facebook is removing Gmail from the list of third party email providers on “Find Friends”, whereas we were seeing direct link downloads to Gmail contacts still offered as an option just a couple of days ago.

It gets stranger. Some new users who sign up with their Gmail accounts can still see the option to add friends from Gmail, but when I tried to import contacts I got the below “Everyone on this contact list is already on Facebook or has already been invited” message. In other words it didn’t work.

Windows Phone 7 hitting Verizon stores 'this holiday season,' according to Microsoft tweet

Looks like Microsoft took Big Red's challenge and decided to respond in kind, as the official Windows Phone Twitter feed claims that Windows Phone 7 devices are finally headed to Verizon. They'll allegedly arrive this holiday season, a good bit earlier than we were told, but we doubt you're exactly dismayed to get your hands on CDMA WP7 phones ahead of schedule. You know how we hate to mince words, but "devices" does suggest more than one phone, and those of you warily eying your local retailer's selection of Christmas lights could even argue that "this holiday season" has already begun. So when, exactly, will we get these handsets... and which ones?

'Deathly Hallows' Conjures Up $61.2 Mil on Friday

Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 found a pot of gold on Day One, collecting an estimated $61.2 million in its first day of domestic release on Friday.

That includes $24 million in box office from a record 3,700 locations offering midnight-Thursday performances of the seventh Potter movie. The first of two films based on the final book in the Potter book series, Hallows: Part 1 is now on track to ring up $150 million or more through Sunday from 4,124 theaters in the U.S. and Canada this weekend.

Warners’ Batman sequel The Dark Knight stands as the best opening ever after bowing with $158.4 million in July 2008.

The last Potter release – July 2009 opener -- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince– conjured $77.8 million during its first three days and $302 million in total U.S. and Canadian coin. The franchise marked its best opening to date in November 2005, when Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire debuted with $102.7 million, and the $317.6 million fetched by the original Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone stands as its biggest domestic haul.

Many consider Hallows: Part 1 likely to fetch $400 million or more in domestic box office by the end of its theatrical run. Its big first-day tally included a record $5.1 million contribution by 239 high-grossing Imax venues.

Elsewhere among the daily rankings, Lionsgate’s Russell Crowe starrer The Next Three Days – collected $2.5 million in fifth place in its first day of release on Friday. Helmed by Crash director Paul Haggis, the PG-13 action thriller could be limited to the middle to high single-digit millions through Sunday.

Megamind from DreamWorks and Paramount grossed $4.5 million in the first day of its third session for $97.8 in cumulative box office and a second place ranking on Friday. Fox’s Denzel Washington starrer Unstoppable fetched $4.1 million in third with an eight-day cume of $32.9 million, while Warners comedy Due Date was fourth with $2.9 million and a $66.4 million cume at the start of its third weekend.

FBI Investigating Powder Scare at Dancing With the Stars

Could the "haters" that Bristol Palin was talking about actually be dangerous as well as obnoxious?

The FBI and LAPD are investigating after an envelope containing a suspicious white powder was found in the Dancing With the Stars mailroom at CBS Studios.

Investigators said an initial screening determined the substance wasn't hazardous, but...WTF?

"Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified," ABC said in a statement to E! News.

"Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder."

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says that the envelope will be taken to a regional lab for further testing.

Well, as if security wasn't tight enough on nights when Sarah Palin showed up to watch her daughter perform, we're thinking that studio's going to be locked up like Fort Knox when the contestants take their final turns around the ballroom on next week's two-night finale.

RBC: Apple ups Q4 iPad orders, adjusts build plans for Verizon iPhone

Analyst Mike Abramsky at Investment Bank RBC Capital Markets has issued a note to investors detailing two key manufacturing changes regarding Apple hardware. According to the unconfirmed report, Apple recently increased Q4 manufacturing orders for its iPad ahead of the holidays. The adjustment will bring manufacturing totals to 40 million units, and Apple plans to have the same number of iPads built in 2011. Abramsky goes on to suggest that Apple has decreased the number of Verizon Wireless-compatible CDMA iPhone models it will order in 2011. As a result of the change, RBC has trimmed 33% from its 2011 Verizon iPhone sales projections — cutting its forecast from 30 million to 20 million.

Taiwan's arthouse films win top honours at Golden Horse Awards

Two arthouse films from Taiwan on Saturday won top honours at the Golden Horse Film Awards, considered the Chinese-language equivalent of the Oscars.

"I want to thank my team and my parents. I didn't let them down. I will continue to work hard," said Chang Tso-chi, director of the best picture winner "When Love Comes", at the ceremony in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan.

Chang collected the coveted award for his family drama, which led the race with 14 nominations and took another two technical prizes.

Dark horse Chung Mong-hong, also of Taiwan, scored the surprise win of best director for "The Fourth Portrait," seeing off favourites Chang and Hong Kong's Teddy Chen ("Bodyguards and Assassins").

"I am so happy. This is such a surprise. I thought director Chang Tso-chi deserved it more," Chung said.

The film, which touched on social issues including child abuse and prostitution, also picked up awards for outstanding Taiwanese film of the year and best supporting actress for Hau Lei of China.

China's Lu Liping was crowned best actress for her role in "City Monkey" as a struggling working-class single mother with a rebellious son.

The best actor title went to Taiwan's pop idol Ethan Ruan, who beat three Chinese film veterans for his complex role in the hit gangster flick "Monga", set in Taipei a generation ago.
