Princess and the philarmonic: Eva Mendes is the belle of the ball at Walt Disney Concert Hall
Actress Eva Mendes made an appearance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles last night, and appeared to take inspiration from the celebrated animator's famous princesses.

Mendes, 36, stole the show at the Los Angeles Philharmonic's opening night gala in a floor-length pastel pink gown by haute couture designer Christian Dior.
And all that was needed was a glass slipper to complement the 36-year-old's Cinderella style floaty, plunging gown complete with delicate gold beading.
The Hitch star glided as she made her way into the famous hall posing only to smile for the obligatory red carpet snaps.
For once she kept her stunning curves under wraps, but still looked amazingly glamorous. But she wasn't just there as a decorative invitee.

The full-length trailer for Ron Howard’s The Dilemma will be shorn clean of its bizarre “electric cars are gay” scene, a rep from Universal has confirmed to EW. It’s not yet known whether the lines in question will remain in the movie, which is still in postproduction and due for release Jan. 14. Criticism of the trailer hit a high when CNN anchor Anderson Cooper set it in opposition to the anti-bullying initiatives CNN and other networks have adopted since the highly-publicized suicide of a gay Rutgers student last week. The teaser trailer “was not intended to cause anyone discomfort,” according to a statement the studio sent out today.
