EW is reporting that budding movie star Katherine Heigl is poised to exit her role as Dr. Isobel Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy. On Thursday, television snitch Michael Ausiello cited industry tattles who claim that after seven seasons, an Emmy, and a boatload of controversies, series creator Shonda Rhimes has given the greenlight to a deal to release Heigl from her contract with the award-winning ABC medical drama. We hear Katherine’s “people” are in the process of hashing out the deets on an agreement that will pave the way for the 27 Dresses to exit Seattle Grace.
