Ashton Kutcher Wants F-Word in New Film's Title

Ashton Kutcher is campaigning for a cuss-tastic title for the Ivan Reitman film he just wrapped. "I just finished a film called 'The F--k Buddies,' that may not ultimately be called 'F--k Buddies,' " Kutcher tells Moviehole.net. "I don't know why -- I think people would love to go see a movie called 'The F--k Buddies.' "

The comedy features Kutcher, Kevin Kline and Natalie Portman. IMDb describes its plot as, "A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more." The production also stands as 'Untitled Ivan Reitman Project' at the moment, though it was once announced as 'Friends With Benefits.'

"I think if I saw a poster and it said 'The F--k Buddies,' I'd be like, 'I'm in, I'm going to see it.' I think it's going to be a really, really funny movie. I can't think about it without laughing. That should be the title. I'm shooting for that."

The script gained attention with its No. 6 spot on the 2008 Black List, a coveted catalog of unproduced screenplays Hollywood execs vote on. FirstShowing.net reported an insider calling the film "an inverse 'When Harry Met Sally,' " saying, "it's pretty much what you'd expect from a spec script that was originally entitled 'F--- Buddies.'
