Samsung Galaxy U is now official in South Korea
The specs of the Samsung Galaxy U (SHW-M130L) have leaked just a couple of days ago, and it was clear then that the official announcement of this handset couldn’t be far away.
And indeed it wasn’t. The Samsung Galaxy U got official today for LG’s U+ network in South Korea. Samsung PR would have us believe that the “U” in Galaxy U stands for “Unique grip design”, “Ultimate display”, “Utilitarian apps” and “Ubiquitous features” such as WiFi. However, I think it was simply inspired by the name of the carrier it’s launching on.
Anyway, if you want some U action, you can get it for 800,000 South Korean won (approximately $676) in white or black.
Its specs are, as expected, those that were leaked before. Here’s a quick recap:
So if your carrier of choice in South Korea is LG U+, there’s now a high-end Samsung Galaxy Android-powered smartphone available for you.
