Ella Enjoys Swing Ride of 8-Storey High, Selina and Hebe Ends Up with Wobbly Legs

Ella is well-known as “Gutsy Chen” in S.H.E. Sometime back when she was in Singapore, she took on the 8-storey and 10-storey high Horizontal and Reverse G-MAX GX-5 Xtreme Bungy rides respectively, to challenge her own limits. Meanwhile Selina and Hebe looked on by the side with wobbly legs.Shortly after her meal, Ella suddenly suggested playing the bungy and adopted an “order of gradually upping the limit” strategy to challenge herself. First she played the Horizontal Bungy which would just oscillate and not flip in the air. She was only strapped to the G-MAX chair by the safety cord, without any handles to grip and nowhere to support her legs when she was elevated off the ground. Upon being raised to a height equivalent of an 8-storey building prior to the free fall, Ella’s body was almost 90 degrees perpendicular to the ground. She admitted to feeling a little panic then but she dared not shout and thus, carried on to play. “Actually I was scared and closed my eyes then, as I dared not look down.”
Having successfully returned to the ground safely after the Horizontal Bungy, her playfulness actually grew and now she chirped about playing the extreme Reverse Bungy next. Ella said, “Now I am psychologically prepared. I will sing ‘Bu Xiang Zhang Da’ (Don’t wish to grow up), when I sang the word ‘Da’, then you guys shall propel me up into the sky.” Indeed when Ella sang the word ‘Da’, both herself and her voice rose to soar high and even somersaulted a few rounds into the sky. Selina and Hebe only dared to watch Ella through the camera lens by the side, while Selina kept exclaiming, “If I were to sit on that, I would probably already moved on into my next life already.”
