Jennifer Lopez 'launches $10m lawsuit against first husband over his plan to release sex tape'
Singer Jennifer Lopez has won a court order barring her first husband from making their sex life public - at least for a day.
Lopez is suing Ojani Noa for $10 million, claiming he intends to make and sell a movie containing home video of the actress in sexual situations, including during their 1997 honeymoon.
A Los Angeles judge barred Noa and his producer, Ed Meyer, from distributing the material yesterday until a hearing later today to decide whether to extend the order, which Noa plans to fight.
Court papers show that the star claims Noa - who she divorced a year after their marriage - is planning to release a film entitled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-Lo and Ojani Noa Story.
The mother-of-two claims the move represents a direct violation of a confidentiality agreement they signed a few years back, in documents filed on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to TMZ.com.
Lopez - now happily married to Latino singer Marc Anthony - also claims Noa intends to market '11+ hours of previously unseen home video footage of Jennifer Lopez and Ojani Noa'.
The Monster-in-Law actress was reportedly told that the footage depicts her 'in a revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room from [her and Noa's] honeymoon'.
The lawsuit marks the second time Lopez has sued her first husband, a chef and model to whom she was married for less than 11 months.
Noa did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment on the lawsuit.
In 2006, Lopez sued Noa over his plans to publish a tell-all book about their life.
It resulted in a California judge ordering Noa to pay Lopez $545,000 for breach of contract. Lopez said Noa had signed an agreement not to publish details of their relationship.
Lopez's latest lawsuit comes after her attorneys reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Noa and some filmmakers, demanding they stop production of the film.
In court papers, her attorney claims that he received a letter from a producer working with Noa, who stated that he had 'entered into a contractual agreement' with TMZ for the 'exclusive rights to the... home movies.'
However, the website says that these claims are false, and that no such agreement exists.
Lopez, 40, is suing Cuban-born Noa for breach of contract and invading her privacy.
She is seeking $10million and wants a judge to ban the planned release of the movie and video footage.
