Yesterday Edison Chen appeared in a Taiwan television station to promote for his good friend DJ Tommy's new MP3. He reveals his plans to open a store in Taiwan and denied the rumors of his break up with girlfriend Vincy. He expressed that his relationship with his girlfriend is going very well, but the two have no plans for marriage yet.
Edison reveals that after the Photo Scandal, he was in the United States doing everything himself, no assistant or anything. He said that he was able to find his path in life due to the scandal. He said: "Everything happens for a reason (in english), I already found my reason and have already forgiven myself." He also said that within these two years, he has been doing things, he came up with a trendy brand pathway to move forward and also found his path in life. But, when Reporters asked about Cecilia Cheung becoming pregnant again, he only smiled and did not respond. His manager was besides him and stopped the Media from asking again of questions relating to Cecilia.
Edison expressed that besides opening a new store in Taiwan next year, he will also be investing in 3-4 individual films. He has once took classes on film production, if he cannot find a compatible male lead for the film, he will play it himself. Asked if he is prepared to make a comeback into the entertainment circle? He said that he is not fully prepared to come back yet, there is still 10 steps left to take, he only did 8 of them. Also, he might a chance that he decides to start in the States instead because there is not as much pressure there. He expressed that Hong Kong had a school who invited him to be a guest speaker, he wants to share his experiences with more people, but hopes to first stablize his career. He reveals that recently he has accepted to be the spokesperson for a U.S sportswear brand, there are many other famous sports stars working with him.
