He's become infamous for his sexual appetite and is loved and hated in equal measure by men and women alike.
But randy Russell Brand claims to be a reformed man since getting together with U.S. singer Katy Perry.
The 34-year-old comedian says he is 'living in a different' way and even admits he is ready for children.
Speaking about his new girlfriend, he made it clear that his agenda has changed, admitting: 'She's lovely. I am living in a different way at the moment.
'Regardless of what happens in my current situation, I am unlikely to be satisfied with the calamitous promiscuity of the preceding five or six years.'
The couple got together at the MTV VMAs in New York earlier this year, cementing the relationship on a not-so-secret holiday to Thailand.
Now seemingly settled with his new love, Russell admits he is ready for children after making a success of himself despite a prior addiction to drugs, including heroin.
Asked if he was ready for babies, he said: 'I am, actually. It's seven years since I took drugs. I've made a film. I don't think I have to fight so much. I think I have grown weary of the carousel.'
And Russell says he's changed his life for the better by taking up yoga and meditation: 'I’m living in a disciplined way, do lots of yoga, exercise and transcendental meditation. It’s not half good.
'They give you a mantra… You feel attuned to a consciousness that is beyond your identity and beyond life.'
The comic is set to reprise his role as Aldous Snow in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off Get Him To The Greek, along with various other acting gigs during the coming year.
So, with the work flowing in, a new take on life and a new girlfriend, could this signal the end of 'randy Russell Brand'?
