Fan Bing Bing, Vic Zhou, lonely hearts : who can understand how they feel ?

Vic Zhou, who was the most "refined" of F4 appeared bearded and made many people speechless this time, this look made him appear old, but privately, Vic really likes this style, "Usually, when I don't have to work, ! I would be too lazy to shave and the lenght of my beard would depend on how long I can hide from my company's calls ! This time I didn't shave because my next character will be a musician, I'll need to look decadent, and to cultivate emotion, I stopped shaving some time ago, and this is the look I thought about by myself for this role !"On the 6th of December, "The Last Night of Madam chin" aka "Jin Da ban" broadcasted on Dragon TV, this is the second piece of Fan Bing Bing's company, and also her first collaboration with Vic Zhou.
On the press conference, everyone were thoughtful and left the central place to Fan Bing Bing, and Vic was very humble but got pulled by "Fan Lao Ban (boss)" to sit beside her. Those two are currently single, thus work is for them the most important. Love being only a luxury christmas gift.
Vic Zhou, personification of Love ?
"Madam Chin" is Vic's first appearance in a Mainland production, to accomodate with this "little boyfriend"'s time slot, as the drama's producer and main actress, Fan Bing Bing even delayed the shooting and waited for him for 10 months !
In "Madam Chin" original version written by Bai Xian Yong, the role Vic Zhou is acting as, "Sheng Yue Ru", is a College student Chin Zhao Li is providing for, and only briefly appear, but in Fan Bing Bing's version of "Madam Chin" this role became a "returnee" and a very young man from a very wealthy family, and even share a very pure love with Chin Zhao Li, who will have many scenes such as suicidal jumping, cutting wrist, and kiss scenes.
About making such big changes Fan Bing Bing says bluntly that it was to expand Vic's scenes, "The original version is a very short novel, but the drama is 36 episodes long, so making changes was already very hard. To make every roles more full, not only Vic's scenes got changes, but all the other characters undergone very big transgformations, I think that it is a good direction, and it suits TV drama very well, and it is also an idea that the audience can accept."Even if he acts as Fan Bing Bing first love, Vic still is a lady killer, every romances he had were spectacular, his on and off realtionship with Das still is remembered dearly by everyone. He got one rumor after another, but Vic never losen up his mouth to admit any, and persisted on the principle of not talking about his love life in a public scene.
When reporters were voicing doubts about his and Madam Chin's firsqt love to be "too experienced", Vic stuttered, not knowing what to say, but as Fan Bing Bing, who was beside him unrestrainly helped out, and saved Vic : "I also saw many netizens say they found it romantic, actually, every people point of view is different, so you don't need to explain, and you were born as the personification of love, you got shot by Cupid !". The last sentence made Vic who was feeling awkward before leugh non-stop.
From the fresh Chin Suo when she debuted, to creating her own company, now, Boss Fan who could accept 9 roles in a year, has always been struggling as if she was a "daredevil"
As a producer, Fan Bing Bing manages everything, she would tell the other actors to hurry at a press conference, "Hurry ! the trailer is almost finished, the reporters had been waiting for half a day ! " being completly different from when she was solely an actress.
How much money did her company make in 2009 ? and what report Fan Bing Bing is handing out for this year ? About those interrogation, Fan Bing Bing who is used to handle reporters responded very easily, "Money is not something you can earn too much of, and I'm not one to care that much about how much money I earned.About which part got the best results, I think it's the friendship part, everytime I film a drama, I'd get to know more friends, I can ask friends for help, they'd come for support."
Fan Bing bing was in a very good mood, and even revealed that she'll give all her employees a red package, "Last year was a diamond, this year, I'll upgrade it to a PDA, if you have a better suggestion, please tell me."
The drama she invested money in got better and better ratings, the company's coffers got more and more full, so Fan Bing Bing's would be more and more confident.
No love, sharing the same sickness
Everytime Fan Bing Bing appears in public, she'll make herself as beautiful as possible, making people use up uncountless number of films. Bujt while filming, her feminity would be replaced by maternal instincts.
"Bing Bing Jie is a girl who can make people feel at ease, she is very maternal deep down, on the set, she'll take care of everyone like a mother." Vic's words made Fan Bing Bing blush very hard.
At the press conference, Fan Bing Bing gave all the actors a christmas gift, she especially chose soem tea leaves for Vic's father, making people imagining it as a present from a daughter in law when first meeting the in laws.
Everyone is expecting to see what kind of firework would Vic and Bing Bing produce, this pair of onscreen lovers both said that not dating was "in the benicifial of carreer", "We are both good looking, being together would be too wasteful ! Love is about destiny, it comes when it wants to, no need to expect too much, I have more expectations about my career, because it's a future that you can see"
It's almost christmas and as both single 28 years olds, Vic and Bing Bing don't have any expectations towards love, it felt like they understood each other from sharing the same sickness.

Shanghai Times : JDB is your company's second drama, what kind of change does it represent for you ?
Fan Bing Bing : This time, we were more experienced than when we did "Rouge snow", from buying the material of the costumes to the set and decors, I knew more how to manage those. The costume in the drama were also all designed by me, and the most expensive cost more than 20 thousands ! I was seeing to the food provided, when it was cold, we bought electric heaters to all the cast, and making warmes for everyone, cooking a big pot of ginger soup everyday for everyone.
ST : Both as "Bing Bing"s the other one, Li Bing Bing got the Golden Horse Award, and for the past year, you rarely got any....
FBB : I got the GHA for "the Matrimony" a few years ago, that award has been in my house all along.
ST : Among the whole cast, it seems that you care especially more for Vic, is it because it's your first time working together, so you took care of him more ?
FBB : You know ? As soon as he joined the team, he would stay by himself in his hotel room, it would be impossble to find him. I could only take care a little more of the daily details, he was the only one to wear a thin jacket, I was afraid he'd get cold so especially bought a coat for him.
Vic Zhou : Bing Bing is too nosyST : Was your first cooperation with Bing Bing different from what you imagined ?
V : I first thought that some actors, after being more "experienced" would act more "oily". To my surprise, Fan Bing bing wasn't like that at all, looking at her getting psychologically ready, then seeing her tears flowing would move me very much, I could feel that it came from the heart, making it easy for the opponent to act along. But she is really too nosy, even nagging me about lunch, unbearable !
ST : As the GBA favourite for best actor, you missed it in the end, were you unhappy ?
V : Golden Bell (news).... those are too fake ! Actually my disappointment about the GBA were forgotten the next day. If you have to talk about unhappiness, it's more about disappointment then, because it wasn't like what I imagined. I feel that as an actor, a good script and a good role isn't enough to gain an award, getting awards needs good timing, place and people (天时地利人和luck/fate), now I can only wait for an opportunity like that. The thing that makes me more sad is that I can't participate in the movie version of "Black and White", because our time slots don't match.
