Breaking away from a whole year of bad luck, Mike He will start 2010 with a change of good fortune. The drama "Infernal lovers" that was filmed last year, will finally be screened. For the drama he had to experience a change in female leads, new director and even while the filming process he had gastroenteritis, hurt his toes and was in so much pain words could not express. But it has been confirmed that it will be broadcasted on STV on the 8th January, so all his hard work will not of been in vain."Infernal lovers" is being called China's version of "Infernal affairs", Mike He will be starring as the role played by Tony Leung in "Infernal affairs", the internal spy. Having to act with repressed emotions made him scream out in frustration, which resulted in quite a few re-takes, he admitted "am still more skilled at idol dramas." When he displays his idol charms, it has been known during shooting he will electrify many China actresses and quite commonly after shooting they would be very bold and express their love to him asking him to go out to karaokes and for drinks.
Since the filming coincided with summer the temperature reached 40C, during filming if Mike was not weaking military uniform, then he would be wearing a leather shirt with layers upon layer of clothes underneath. Within the script there is a lot of fighting scenes, there has been countless times where he has filmed until heat stroke, Mike He said "In period dramas you have to wear a lot of clothes, I will be roasting hot from head to toe, the leather shirt on me gets really hot, so hot you can fry an egg!"
