Motorola ‘Ruth’ Android phone specs unearthed – not quite Droid-like

Another Android phone planned by Motorola has been dug out from the depths of the company’s own user agent profile database – this time with the more unassuming name ‘Ruth’, and model number MB551.
Revealed is a 240 x 320 QVGA display (definitely not Droid-like), QWERTY keyboard, Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz CPU, Bluetooth 2.0, and a GSM / WCDMA radio of some sort. It’ll run on GSM with 3G bands.
It seems that Android 1.5 is mentioned in the browser specs, so let’s hope that an Eclair update is whipped out soon. Or maybe someone should just tell every phone maker out there that Android 1.5 is not exactly the newest version out there– 2.1 is alive and kicking.
