Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson is campaigning for the starring role in the film adaptation of the smash novel Kill Your Friends. If he bags the role, Twi-Hards will see their beloved Pattz doing drugs, sleeping with prostitutes, and committing murder as a drug and sex-obsessed record executive.Rob has his sights set on playing fictional record label A&R man Steven Stelfox in the big screen adaptation of the 2008 novel written by former real life A&R man John Niven.
A movie industry tattle tells London’s The Sun newspaper: “Rob is a huge fan of the novel. He is fascinated by the music industry and is keen to get involved in the project. He’s already approached producers telling them he wants to play the leading man. If he gets the role it will be the darkest part he’s ever played. It’s an incredibly adult character and is bound to shock his fan base.”
