Motorola Droid 2 User Manual confirms Android 2.2 Froyo?

Why hello, Motorola Droid 2 User Guide, we’ve been expecting you – especially since you seem to confirm that the Droid 2 will have Android 2.2 Froyo at launch.
The User Guide shows the Droid 2 having the Froyo Google search menu (see the third photo below), so I’d say there are very slim chances for the smartphone not to be shipped with the latest version of Android.
Another thing that’s apparently confirmed is the presence of the same MotoBlur skin featured on the Droid X, and the Swype-powered virtual keyboard.

By the way, the Droid X (which will also get Froyo) is still not available immediately – Verizon says it will ship it by August 5 – so maybe you’d want to wait for the Droid 2 instead, since this should be announced really soon (maybe on August 12).
