Verizon Samsung Fascinate pre-orders starting August 29 at Best Buy

Best Buy has announced that the Samsung Fascinate (Verizon’s Galaxy S) would be available for pre-order starting this Sunday (August 29), with Best Buy Reward Zone members being able to reserve the smartphone today.
Best Buy doesn’t mention the handset’s price, but it’s probably $199 with a 2-yr contract agreement.
The Fascinate will run Android 2.1 at launch (rumored for September 9), but an update to Android 2.2 Froyo is planed for later this year.
Verizon will be the last of the big four to introduce its own Galaxy S in the US, after T-Mobile (Samsung Vibrant), AT&T (Samsung Captivate) and Sprint (the Epic 4G will be out on August 31).
