The 45th Golden Bell Awards ceremony was held in Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall the tonight, in the drama series leading actress award was won by “Hi My Sweet Heart’s” Rainie Yang.
When Rainie went on stage, she expressed she didn’t prepare a winning speech, hard to believe of winning.
She was thankful of all the people that helped her the past 10 years, especially the director Lin He Long which filmed her 4 times, filming different types of her each time. She also thanked her opposite lead partner Show Luo from “Hi My Sweet Heart”; she said “It’s very rare that I can’t pull away from a drama’s role”.
Within the drama series best leading actress nominees; “Bling Day’s” Bianca Bai, “Da Ai TV – Dawn’s” Francesca Kao, “The Year of Happiness and Love’s” Amber Kuo, “Hi My Sweet Heart’s” Rainie Yang, and “Year of the Rain’s” Jian Man Shu.

The 45th Golden Bell Drama Queen Rainie Yang was pouring tears tonight at Golden Bell, on the stage sobbing: “To win, I have to thank my good partner and buddy Show Luo.” Leaving the stage she was holding back the tears from the flashing, so happy to say “really happy ah”, couldn’t say anything else.
Rainie in 2008 for “Why Why Love” was empty handed from the Golden Bell, once saying it’s the biggest pearl; this year for “Hi My Sweet Heart” is the new Golden Bell Drama Queen. In her hands is the Golden Bell award, out of breath, her whole body was numb, and walking was swaying, “It’s like after racing in a car 10 times.” She also said, she’s very thankful of Angie Cai for bringing her into idol dramas, and also hopes Show Luo will join her glory.
The 26 year old Rainie Yang, starred in drama “Devil Beside You”, “Why Why Love”, “Hi My Sweet Heart” all had high ratings, she’s entered the big screen and accepted the lesbian film “Spider Lily” and 3D horror film “Child’s Eye”, this year “Child’s Eye” will be participating the Venice film festival, opening a new road to stardom.
Judge Cai Kuo Rong says, drama female lead nominees Rainie Yang and Amber Kuo were the most discussed candidates by the judges, Rainie won over because of better transition of the interpreted role, able to see her transforming from her “Princess of Cuteness” image.
