Although it’s been almost two weeks since Google posted a giant Gingerbread man in front of its HQ, the Mountain View company has still not announced when the new version of Android would be available.
However, according to one of IntoMobile’s “trusted sources”, Google will launch the Android Gingerbread (2.3) SDK on November 11.
November 11 is also the date when Verizon (the largest North American carrier) should introduce lots of new Android smartphones – although this may have nothing to do with Gingerbread.
The first Android Gingerbread phone could be the Google Nexus Two, which might be unveiled by Samsung on November 8 (Samsung has reportedly denied this, but it wouldn’t be the first time a company denies something that’s actually true).
So, what do you think, is Gingerbread finally coming on November 11 (i.e. next Thursday) or not?
