Yesterday Ekin Cheng attended an event for digital camera brand Canon at Harbour City. The organizers gave him a camera covered with sparkling stones as a gift. Next month, Ekin will be holding a concert and will use the VIP tickets as a "gift back" for the camera. Asked if he would give the new camera to his girlfriend Yoyo Mung? Ekin said: "This one is for myself, how can you give away a gift that someone gave you?" He praised that Canon is very generous, not only did they give him a new camera as a gift, but they also provided the necessary materials for the camera (strap, instructions).Asked if he takes pictures of his girlfriend in usual days? Ekin said: "Usually I would do so during vacations, but not really during usual days. (You take pictures of her!) When we are on trips, but I like to take pictures of scenery more, we are artistic! (Artistic photos are usually not useful) No one for me to take pictures of, actually I rather people take pictures of me, so I can see if I'm fit or not." Ekin frankly said that his girlfriend will be supporting two shows for his concert, but she won't be going on stage to duet with him. "Don't scare everyone, don't scare her."
