It appears rumours of Miley Cyrus' death have been much exaggerated - again.News about the Hannah Montana star's latest "death" by car accident has been burning bright online, but luckily for her legion of fans, the singer and actress is still alive and well.
It is not the first time such rumours have abounded about Cyrus.
And she is certainly not the first celebrity to fall victim to premature news of her death.
Just a couple of months ago Kanye West was also an apparent victim of a car accident.
And the day of Michael Jackson's death was notable for Jeff Goldblum when a long-running internet hoax reported that he had died in a fall while filming a movie in New Zealand. Goldblum's "death" was reported breathlessly on some Australian media before they realised their folly.
