Samsung Bada UI unveiled in beautiful stills, reason for existing still blurry

For one reason or another, Samsung’s been a bit reluctant in showing screenshots of its newly-announced bada smartphone OS.


Well, in case you want to know what the new mobile platform looks like (and you probably do want), there are many leaked screenshots available.

As Samsung previously said, the bada OS is based on the company’s TouchWiz UI, successfully used on its range of touchscreen phones (tens of millions of them), so don’t be surprised if you find some resemblances in the images below.

The first batch of bada OS images comes from Engadget Germany, showing the main screen (Twitter app included), a music playlist, maps and social networking integration:



All in all, Samsung’s new smartphone OS looks pretty nice, but it’s the usability and user-friendliness that count more than the aesthetics – so until the first Samsung bada phone is launched (sometime in the first half of 2010) we can’t actually know if the OS is worth all the hype around it.
