Zoe Saldana has revealed that production on the hotly-anticipated Star Trek sequel will begin in the new year.
The stunning Domincan, who played Uhura in the 2009 box office smash, tells MTV News that a script is in the works for a follow-up before the end of 2010.
“I spoke to J.J. [Abrams] and Bryan Burk, his producing partner at Bad Robot, and they are still in the middle of building the script with Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, and we’ll probably be going into pre-production around this time next year.”
