Kenix Kwok gives up acting to focus on family

Hong Kong actress Kenix Kwok has announced that she intends to stop taking on television projects to focus on her family.Kwok, 40, had just given birth to her first child, a baby daughter, via Caesarean Section on January 14.
She said that she will give up acting to make sure she does not miss any part of her child's growing up years.
She also told reporters that she intends to have more children with actor husband Frankie Lam as her daughter would be very bored without siblings. She added that "it would be best to have two, at most three children so that she [her daughter] would be happier".
With Kwok staying at home for their children, it would fall on Lam to bring home the bacon. However, Lam said that he did not object to Kwok's decision and was happy to take up the burden.
"I hope I can get more work. I rather shoulder a heavier burden than have her work," he said.
The birth of their as yet unnamed baby girl had changed both Lam and Kwok.
Kwok revealed that "friends say Lam has never smiled this happily before" while Lam said that Kwok had undergone a huge change in temperament.
"When she got pregnant, she learnt to control herself and not get angry so easily for the sake of the baby. I felt that she had become warmer and gentler," he said. "She continued to change so much after giving birth that it is as though she is a different person."
