LG InTouch Max GW620 launched in the UK (via T-Mobile and Virgin)

LG GW620, the company’s first Android smartphone, has just been launched in the UK while receiving a new name: LG InTouch Max.

The InTouch Max GW620 is an Android 1.5 handset with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a Social Networking Manager app dubbed Linkbook (which provides direct access to your friends’ profiles).

Other features include a 3 inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA connectivity, push email, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera, and MicroSD card support.

The LG GW620 InTouch Max should be available in the UK in several colors via both T-Mobile and Virgin, starting this month. The smartphone will be free with a 24-month T-Mobile contract of at least £20 per month, or with an 18-month Virgin contract of at least £22 per month.
