Sony Ericsson Vivaz (Kurara U5) gets official earlier than planned
We don’t know when Sony Ericsson intended to announce the Sony Ericsson Kurara U5, but the smartphone has just been fully unveiled (with press shots and even a video preview), so it’s safe to say that it’s now official. The website that published all the info available below has almost immediately retracted the article, but the photos and details live on.
First of all, the new handset has been renamed – it’s called Sony Ericsson Vivaz. However, it’s got everything we’ve expected it to have since it was known as Kurara.
The Vivaz run Symbian touch and comes with a WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, and an 8.1MP autofocus camera with LED flash and HD 720p video recording.
There will be no less than four color versions of the smartphone: Cosmic Black, Silver Moon, Venus Ruby and Galaxy Blue.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz should be available starting the next few months, for a price that will be announced later on.
Here’s a video presentation of the Vivaz, watch while it’s still online:
