Jessica Alba has shot down rumors that her husband, Cash Warren, hooked up with her Machete co-star, Lindsay Lohan, in a Hollywood nightclub last fall.
“Lindsay’s had to deal with this for so long. Everyone has to live their life, and that’s what people forget when you’re in this business… she’s really nice,” Jessica told British Cosmopolitan in its March issue. “We hang out and chat for hours about girl stuff.”
The Valentine’s Day star says rumors that surfaced last November claiming Cash shared a liplock with La Lohan were nothing more than tabloid banter – – something she no longer allows to bother her.
“When people wrote lies about me before I had [my daughter] Honor, I’d get upset or I’d get nauseous or I’d get angry or I’d want revenge,” she explained. “Now, it’s like, it’s just so ridiculous and it’s not even close to being the truth.”
The 28-year-old actress – who married Cash in May 2008 – eventually accepted his proposal because she knew they would stick together through “thick and thin.”
“I chose to get married because, essentially, you’re given a deck of cards in life. The hand you were dealt with is your family and you can’t choose them. But the one person you can choose to bring into your life as your family and to have that unconditional love with is your husband and wife. I’m choosing you as my family and we’re going to love each other through thick and thin.”
The couple has a 19-month-old daughter named Honor Marie.
