CTIA 2010 is the place where Sprint has finally unveiled North America’s first 4G / WiMAX smartphone.
Previously known as HTC Supersonic, the device is officially called HTC EVO 4G, and it seems to be the most feature-packed Android smartphone ever – even besting the Google Nexus One (which, by the way, will also be available to Sprint customers).
The HTC EVO 4G resembles the Windows Mobile-based HTC HD2, but it has more features and, of course, it supports both EV-DO Rev A and WiMAX connectivity.

Well, the specs of HTC EVO 4G are really impressive. The bad news is that Sprint will sell the handset only starting this summer (the exact release date was not announced, and neither was the smartphone’s price).
