Lady Gaga is returning to American Idol. The pop singer is set to perform on the Idol stage on Wednesday, May 5. Gaga made her debut on the FOX talent show with a live performance of “Just Dance” in 2008.
Lady GaGa to Make 3-D Concert Movie?
LADY GaGa is set to star in a 3-D movie.
Insiders say the Poker Face hitmaker — real name Stefani Germanotta — is in talks to put her stunning live show on the big screen using the same 3-D technology as used in James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar.
“The plan is to capture one of GaGa’s European gigs later this year,” reveals a source close to the singer.
“This would be the first movie of its kind. GaGa is very excited about it.”
GaGa recently claimed she feels a responsibility to her fans and therefore tries not to be a “self-obsessed” artist like some of her contemporaries.
“When you’re in the public eye, you’re a role model whether you want to be or not, and I want to be,” she said.
“I’m not one of those self-obsessed artists who don’t care about their fans. It’s not just about the music.
“I look out into the O2 and there are 18,000 screaming young people and I have a responsibility to them — and you’re an idiot if you don’t know that.”
