Nokia C6, C3 and E5 messaging phones announced (video)

Nokia’s “Everyone Connect” event was not about the N8 after all, but about no less than three new messaging phones: Nokia C6, Nokia C3 and Nokia E5 (previously known as Nokia Mystic).

All three new handsets feature full QWERTY keyboards and are “designed to put better messaging and social networking tools in the hands of more people around the world, at affordable prices.”

Nokia C3 is an S40 phone, and it’s the first in this series to have a full QWERTY keyboard (we told you that QWERTY is coming to S40).

The C3 features a 2.4 inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi, Ovi Mail, Ovi Chat, 2MP camera and MicroSD card support. It will be available starting the second quarter of 2010 for only €90 ($122), coming in several color versions like hot pink, slate grey and golden white.

Nokia C6 is a touchscreen Symbian smartphone that will also be available starting Q2 (in black and white).

The C6 features a 3.2 inch display with 360 x 640 pixels, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera with flash, and MicroSD card support. Nokia C6 will cost €220 (about $300).

Finally, the Nokia E5 features Symbian, 2.4 inch QVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, and MicroSD card support.

Nokia E5 will be available in the third quarter of 2010 for €180.
