Samsung Galaxy A (SHW-M100S) launched in South Korea
Samsung’s first Android 2.1 smartphone, the SHW-M100S (first seen back in February), is now available in South Korea as Samsung Galaxy A.
Sold via SKT (South Korea’s largest mobile carrier), the Galaxy A has features that remind us of the Galaxy S. Interestingly, the 3.7 inch WVGA screen of the Galaxy A is an “AMOLED PLUS” one – but this is likely just a different name for Super AMOLED.
The Galaxy A M100S also comes with an 800MHz processor, Wi-Fi, T-DMB, DivX support, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP camera, 8GB of internal memory, and a 1500 mAh battery.
Most probably, the Samsung Galaxy A M100S will not be launched outside Korea.
