Hong Kong actors Ronald Cheng and Charlene Choi (better known as Ah Sa) recently announced their separation in a tearful press conference. The duo secretly got hitched in 2006 and decided to be forthcoming with their decision to divorce after news of their marriage was exposed by a friend.
Since going separate ways, both Ronald and Charlene have been busy with their own lives. As one-half of Cantopop girl group Twins, Charlene has been caught up with comeback concerts. Ronald has been busy promoting his latest flick, Pandora's Box, in China.
Despite previous reports that Twins would take a break after this series of comeback concerts, Charlene shared, at a fashion show a few days ago, that "there is no time to rest now."
"Next month I will be shooting a new movie called Grand Inn with Barbie Hsu and Nicholas Tse. There will be another mainland movie where I'll be collaborating with Nicholas again. I'll be filming that till November," the 27-year-old added.
According to earlier reports, Charlene received an eight million yuan movie offer to collaborate with her ex-hubby in a movie project.
On the possibility of a collaboration between them, she said, "We'll talk about it when there's a script. If the script is good and the paycheck is good, I won't mind trying if there is time. I love acting so much, I wouldn't reject it."
