Drake tops Billboard's 200 albums chart, Tom Petty and Sarah McLachlan follow behind

Drake is Billboard‘s chart king today. His Thank Me Later comes in at No. 1 on their 200 albums chart, pushing out 447,000 copies in its first week. The first four slots on the 200 albums chart are new entries. The second highest debut is Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ Mojo at No. 2 with 125,000 units moved. Next is Sarah McLachlan’s Laws of Illusion, which comes in at No. 3 with 94,000 copies sold. No. 4 comes from Now 34, the compilation album of recent pop hits, with 88,000.

Jack Johnson‘s To The Sea falls back a slot to No. 5 with 68,000 albums sold. The Eclipse soundtrack slides back four spots to No. 6, selling 55,000 units. With 47,000 copies sold, Justin Bieber‘s My World 2.0 falls one slot to No. 7. Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now remains at No. 8 selling 40,000 albums. Christina Aguilera‘s disappointing Bionic sinks six spots to No. 9 with 40,000 units sold. And last week’s No. 1, Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals, closes out the top 10. It sold 39,000 copies.
