Edison denies knowing 18 year old girl, "Don't tear me and Vincy apart"

When Edison Chen was buffeted by the stormy winds of his sex photo scandal in February two years ago, his then girlfriend Vincy Yang stayed faithfully by his side. But yesterday, there were rumours that he and Vincy had encountered a rough patch in their relationship, and that Edison was now dating a hot, 18 year old Hong Kong model named Fiona Tang Bo Yan. Fiona was even photographed attending his company's party... to which Edison responded by denying that he even knew her.
According to Taiwan's Appledaily newspaper, after lying low for a year following his scandal, one of his first interviews upon reappearing was to thank his girlfriend Vincy, saying "She helped me understand the true meaning of love, this kind of love is very powerful, and now I'm like a new man."
"Don't tear us apart"
Although the pair appeared stable, yesterday there were rumours that three months ago, their relationship was already nearing its ending point. Vincy was supposedly the one who requested the breakup, and the pair agreed to deal with it quietly. Back to being single, Edison didn't appear to be hurt at all, and immediately began wooing Fiona, sending her many SMS, and she appeared the role of girlfriend by attending his public company party.
However, Edison denied breaking up with Vincy. "We are very good, I hope the media will stop trying to tear us apart." He further denied knowing Fiona, and appeared very protective of his girlfriend. "I don't know this girl," he clarified, "my company had a 6th anniversary party, and invited many many people. Just because this girl attended doesn't mean she's my girlfriend. It's not that I don't respect the media, but I hope that they won't spin out allegations. I will contact my lawyer if this gets worse."
