Katy Perry swaps sexy World Cup rubber dress for geeky Dame Edna glasses

Katy Perry transformed from chic to geek yesterday when she slipped on a pair of Dame Edna Everage-inspired glasses at Heathrow Airport.
The kooky singer hid her bright blue eyes under the sparkly spectacles but the new ‘librarian’ look wasn’t her best fashion idea.
On the weekend the 25-year-old supported both England and the USA in their World Cup match by wearing a rubber dress which had one half made from a Union Jack flag and the other from an American flag.
Although the cleavage-enhancing, leg lengthening World Cup outfit might have been a sexier option, Katy clearly thought comfort was more important for her flight back to Los Angeles.
So she soon ditched the rubber for a loose cotton top, black jeans and flat sandals.
Perry sported the red, blue and white skin-tight mini to show her divided support for both teams in the football match.
As an American, but with a British fiancé in the form of comedian Russell Brand, her loyalties were clearly split.
So she showed off her amazing figure in the super tight outfit as she left her hotel in London after watching the show to head over for an interview on James Corden's World Cup Live chat show.
