Lawyer: Lohan's SCRAM Device Indicated "Small Amount of Alcohol"
In a statement Tuesday, Lindsay Lohan's lawyer said the actress' SCRAM device indicated the "presence of a small amount of alcohol" Sunday night.
"Having just received the report, I am not in a position to speak to its accuracy or validity, however Ms. Lohan maintains that she has been in complete compliance with all of the terms of her probation and her bail," attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said in the statement.
The statement comes after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant late Tuesday, claiming the actress, 23, was "in violation for conditions on bail" after her SCRAM bracelet went off at an MTV Movie Awards after-party. (Lohan was ordered to wear the alcohol-monitoring bracelet last month following a failed court appearance in connection to her two DUI convictions.)
Lohan managed to escape any immediate time behind bars Tuesday because her bondsman paid her $20,000 bail.
She is due in court July 6.
In a series of Twitter messages (rife with misspellings and grammatical errors), Lohan has denied any wrongdoing: "I did not violate anything ... at all ... My scram wasn't set off Its physically impossible ... I've been more than I'm compliance [sic] & feeling great."
