It may be a sartorial nuisance, but Lindsay Lohan's court-imposed alcohol detecting SCRAM anklet appears to be doing her the world of good.
The actress looked healthy and happy as she left Fred Segal in Los Angeles yesterday.
Smiling as she strolled down Melrose Avenue with younger sister Ali and new friend Lady Victoria Hervey, the 23-year-old appears to have regained her curves.
In the past 12 months Lohan's weight has plummeted, with pictures of her worryingly thin frame provoking comment in the media.
However, perhaps the unsightly anti-alcohol anklet she has to wear is leading to a healthier lifestyle in more ways than one.
The Mean Girls actress wore a loose green top and black shorts with knee-high black boots adorned with fringing and accessorised the ensemble with large black sunglasses and glowing skin.
While her mandatory alcohol-free way of life makes 16-year-old sister Ali the perfect companion, Lohan has struck up an unlikely friendship with Lady Victoria Hervey.
The pair were last seen going to watch Sex and the City 2 together.
These are the second set of pictures showing Lohan may be on the mend at last in the past month.
She was pictured at the Muscle Milk Light Women's Retreat boxing earlier this week.
