The star talked about his clothing brand and defended his rumoured beau, Jolin Tsai, on her new imageIs he just a loyal friend or a loving boyfriend?
Taiwanese prince of pop Jay Chou was in Taipei for the opening of a friend's new store PHANTACi.
Jay clarified that he is not an investor of the new brand, but merely forked out a loan to his friend. The name of the store was also inspired by his album 'Fantasy'.
"If I can be of help to any friend I'll help; he can go ahead and use the name!"
When talking about his own clothing brand, Jay revealed that he aims to be as successful as Edison Chen's CLOT brand and that he is looking forward to working with him.
So would he want to work with his rumoured beau, Jolin Tsai?
"Collaboration between celebrity brands is a trend; I think working with either Edison or her are both fine."
Recently, Jolin's new image for her upcoming album came under fire; some even saying she looked like Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. When asked for comments on it, Jay defended her.
"There's very few artistes out there like her who can look good in anything; be it hip-hop or folk, she can always carry off whatever she wears."
The multi-talented Jay has already done most of the things a celebrity can do. However, he isn't about to settle for just that; according to recent reports, Jay was said to be preparing to take on hosting.
Jay revealed that he did talk to two television stations about it and he is slated to do a show about dancing.
When asked if he might do another Jay-Jolin collaboration, the star quipped, "No there wouldn't be one; the tremours from the last one are still around."
