Verizon Motorola Droid 2 mockups show up at Best Buy

One of the most leaked handsets in recent history, the Motorola Droid 2, is still not officially announced. Many previous rumors indicated a possible announcement on August 10th and availability start on August 12th.
We sure hope that’s the case, because these constant leaks do nothing but tease. And that’s fine for a while, but when months pass without an official unveiling, it can get frustrating.
Anyway, this time around, Droid 2 mockups have been spotted in a Best Buy.
This can only mean that launch is imminent. On the other hand, we’ve said that with every previous information leak about this smartphone, so we’ll have to hear some kind of official word before we actually believe it.
Perhaps next week will indeed end all Droid 2-related frustrations. We’ll see.
