“Paranormal Activity 3″ In Theaters Halloween 2011

The Paranormal Activity franchise isn’t through scaring up millions at the box office.The bone-chilling horror series that first rose to prominence as a Twitter-endorsed independent film in 2009 is adding a third installment just in time for All Hallow’s Eve 2011, we’ve learned.
Writer and producer Oren Peli confirmed the news in a scoop with Bloody Disgusting on Wednesday. Fans are still waiting to learn, however, whether or not lensman Tod Williams will return to direct the film after helming Paranormal Activity 2. The follow-up to last year’s wildly-successful original, topped the UK and US cinema when it opened last month.
Paramount Pictures will release Paranormal Activity 3 on Oct. 21, 2011.
