Lady GaGa: ‘I Love Susan Boyle’
LADY Gaga loves Susan Boyle.
The Bad Romance singer is astonished by the success of the Scottish star — who became a worldwide sensation after appearing on UK reality TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent — and hopes they can collaborate on a song in the future.
“I love Susan Boyle,” said GaGa. “She is my woman of the year. She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime. This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world’s most established artists off the album and singles charts.
“Our styles are different. I don’t know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent.”
The 23-year-old US star said she had watched the clip of Susan — whose debut album I Dreamed a Dream was the fastest-selling debut LP ever released by a woman — singing on the show where she surprised the judges, including music mogul Simon Cowell, with her voice a “thousand times”.
“Every time I see Simon Cowell’s face it makes me laugh out loud,” she said. “He thinks he knows everything but even he wasn’t expecting that.”
